so... is everyone happy he's stayed? I am. The issue I see is I'm just waiting for May/June 2018 for all this drama to start again when Real Madrid come knocking...

He is professional player now and he signed for Milan so nothing against it but the feeling is just way too different when we have him as our wonderkid, a talent that is still learning and we give him chance after chance if he fails but now if he fails he will be jeered since he is paid with so much money even though he is not even 19 years old.

if he stays for a long time, than its good for us, if he wants to leave, so be it, he have a release clause now.

I'm not happy he stayed ,at least not under this circumstances. Our managment completely humiliated themselves and club by accepting all Raiola wanted and even bringing little baby rat brother and giving him 1 million per season (for example Suso will earn "just" 3). I'm hoping we'll sell bastard next summer and bring in someone who actually understands what Milan means.

In terms of his quality and ability there's little doubt in my mind that I'm happy he's stayed. From that perspective, he's already shown this season why the management went out of their way to keep him. Obviously for things that go on off the pitch I do feel he's a lot of trouble, notably because of Raiola. However, as long as Raiola is kept in check and isn't disrupting the club then I really don't care. Things like the captain's armband comment the other day are nothing short of laughable.
Sampinjon, the management acquitted themselves very well during the whole Donnarumma situation this summer, it's a very very far cry from humiliating themselves. If anything, Raiola was the one who was humiliated on multiple occasions, although given the guy has no humility that is pretty meaningless.

Raiola always had reputation of bastard with no shame who will do anything to achieve what he wants. That's exactly what he did. And also he don't give a shit what people think about him.
On the other side ,for example ,we had fairytales how "CL clause" is red line which will not be crossed etc. At the end...well ,we all know... All terms Raiola wanted at first meeting (which our managment refused as unacceptable) are granted. Even worse. Buy out clause is lowered from 100 to 75M and brother is signed.

Hold on, the only thing Raiola "won" in this deal is a release clause. Even then Fassone stated they would be prepared to insert it if it was desired, as it not only protects the player's interests but also the club's. Whether it went down significantly from what the club would have liked is unknown and based on rumours it's closer to what the club wanted than Raiola's initial demands.
In literally every other respect Raiola lost. He was publicly called out for his bs on numerous occasions. Literally anytime he did anything that could be seen in public Fassone almost immediately destroyed him.
In terms of fees he got the standard agent fees from the deal, nothing more (probably the biggest loss in Mino's tiny mind).
He lost huge amounts of support and leverage with the press, many of which criticised him in public when he wanted to do his "interview".
He's apparently strained his relationship with the Donnarumma family during the ordeal, with it rumoured they were furious with the way he dealt with the situation and he failed to get his desired result to get Donnarumma sold (either to United who he's currently very close to or Real who he had apparently promised and Fassone even named publicly in trying to get Donnarumma).
As for the brother, he doesn't represent Antonio so it seems unlikely he got much if anything from that. It was probably more a gesture to Gigio and the Donnarumma family.
Raiola's never been through such a public beating by any club since he became a known entity in football and this Donnarumma saga was a total defeat for him.
That isn't to say it was easy for F&M, they clearly had difficulty on the deal, but they really couldn't have come out of it looking any better.

Called out by whom? Milan supporters? He don't give a crap. "strained his relationship with the Donnarumma family". He got fired or what? No. No real damage there also. "In terms of fees he got the standard agent fees from the deal." He never asked for more. "It was probably more a gesture to Gigio and the Donnarumma family". Who is he? Messi? C.Ronaldo? Guy who bringed dozens of trophies into club so he deserved those kind of gestures? "but they really couldn't have come out of it looking any better."- yes they could. Put rat at the stands and train him with kids for month ,two at most - and he'll fire agent and crawl back and sign for 3M per season without any clauses at all. That's what they were suposed to do.

If you really believe that Raiola never asked for more than normal agent fees as part of the Donnarumma deal then quite honestly there's no debate to be had here.
