Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero confirms Patrik Schick “is going to Juventus” as Roma “don’t have the money”.
Roma asked for him, but they don’t have the money. Tell [President James] Pallotta to look for money, without money there’s no song to sing.”
Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Doesn't Roma also have to sell someone for up to 25mil by June 15th in order to comply with FFP? I remember reading something about it...
La Stampa says Milan are ready to offer €80 million + an out of favour player for Andrea Belotti.
I hope not...

Rich doesn't mean overspending; we still have FFP to comply to
Didn't Fassone have a meeting with UEFA at the start of the month to talk about our current four-year financial plan & successful takeover and the implications with the FFP rules??..As far as i can recall he was looking for a temporary suspension to lay the framework for Milan to be competitive with the top clubs again within only a few years, even if the shareholders won't expect much profit in that time, due to the reinvestment in the team and possibly a deal with Milan's mayor & council for renovations to thee stadium to woo back more tifosi back to the San Siro..more bums on seats and less people watching games at home on cable TV...he's probably learnt a thing or two,...thinking back from when he was in charge at Inter, in E. Thohir's first year, where they spent an obscene amount of money on new players and a year or two later, when they did qualify for Europe again, quite a few of those signings weren't included for registration even to play in the competition..i'm sure he doesn't want a repeat of that...??..maybe..
it's a tough call like......Morata is probably a more complete, all-round prima punta, has better technique on the ball, can play with his back to goal, exceptional dribbling skills and can score goals from further out for fun, add bags of experience playing in Europe and two difficult leagues with Jube and Real in big games to that..mmm...and if you read interviews with the guy, you realise for a 24 year old, he's got a maturity beyond his years and very introspective & extremely intelligent...mind you i reckon Belotti is more clinical in the air for his size...look how many of his goals have been from headers last season for Torino..he has that knack of finding space and being in the right place between the backline of most opposition teams and has a serious spring in his step for someone that is not that tall...Baresi was a similar size in height (and look how easily he could outjump tall strikers in his day..that and his strength) but there's not much comparison apart from that..he's also a better finisher as his goals/ratio shows...and he's more instinctive and clinical with better movement than Alvaro...a partnership of those two would be absolutely f***&*&** lethal...i love Andrea's 'never say die, chase every lost cause, be a complete nightmare for any defence and give everything for the shirt' attitude too..and being a Milan fan, since he was a kid..well it's tricky one alright...very contrasting, totally different players...and with two attacking full-backs in Rodriguez & Conti, who can cross the ball more than well, he'd be more than useful...a right handful...ffs...we haven't had that dynamic to our game since the days of yore with Serginho/Cafu/Inzaghi...it totally depends on what Montella actually prefers....Morata is the type of forward who'll drop deep and make space for the inside forwards, like Suso/ Balde Keita\Papu Gomez and even Jack if he plays there..it may suit our possession-style play, more because of his better passes & distribution if we only buy one....although Suso isn't sooo great at finishing either...well not since after Xmas, with nearly all the focus on him to create something out of nothing for the attacking line...most teams just doubled up on him and he was a mere shadow of the player that won us the derby in late autumn last year...with Belotti, the wingers/inside forwards will have more space to run at teams and do well..half a dozen of one..six of the other...*sighs

Kessie deal well and truely done and dusted now..signed a 5 year contract..he was at Casa Milan earlier and had a tour of the museum, meeting staff and getting a feel for the club..more news to follow no doubt..and Mirabelli is in Germany looking and talking to a midfielder...what's that about??...and it's not Luis Gustavo, who sees to have snubbed Inter for a move to Schalke as it's looking..who could it be?..Leon Goretzka...keep dreaming...everyday brings more surprises..the last umpteen years of pain, inepitutde, frustration since Ibra, Thiago Silva & all the old senatorii retired has nearly been worth it...mmmm

*Morata and the girlfriend Alice Campello have bought a 2million euro home in Milan (zona San Siro)[Telelombardia]

^^^.....that tweet comes from a very reliable source...and  buying a house in that area would make him a neighbour to Icardi, who also lives there...lol
Poli to Bologna for 3M.. finally,
A lot of reports are saying that we're preparing that 80million offer + Bertolacci for Belotti.

I would much rather prefer him to Morata, but if it's almost double the price no thanks. I think Madrid wanted somewhere around 50m for Morata?
Now the reports of a Belotti offer is €70 million + 10 bonuses and Lapadula.

We're also raising wages offering €4.5 million per season to Donnarumma.
