I've always been a fan of Lacazette so would love to have him at Milan.
If we've got someone willing to pay 30 for Bacca now... sell him!
The problem is because technically the deal is not complete, who keeps the $$... It might be better as a loan with obligation to make sure that Fininvest dont end up with the $$ and run.
Something tells me that so close to closing, the Chinese will have a say in Bacca's sale and ultimately the proceeds resulting from it. I say sell him.
If we sign Alexis Sanchez I will be way too happy. I would also welcome Pastore, I wouldnt say he's washed up. When staying fit he was integral last season, and tbh he's always been integral when hes 100% fit. He is injury prone though, so it's a risk you take. In a perfect world, PSG would let Verratti go for 65-70mln, and then I would buy another midfielder in the 15-20m range. With 50-60mln left to spend, I'd sell Bacca - make it 70-80mln. I'd use that last bit of money for a winger, striker and we'd need to make some low-end sales (Kucka, Bertolacci etc.) to also bring in a CB/wingback. This team needs 200-250mln euros including player sales for an adequate enough rebuild to compete on all fronts.
I know there will be other good midfielders we can choose from, but Verratti brings so much guarantee. Watching him against Barca was making me so nervous, I wish we gave him an offer he couldn't refuse well before he moved to PSG.
Galliani just said that Honda will not leave until June. I bet Milan is pissed that he refused the Chinese offer in January and he now wants to leave midway through the season.

u can't really blame honda for wanting to go to us instead of china. still if we don't receive a transfer fee no point letting him go.

30 million savings like on Luiz Adriano?

I don't think we will ever get any transfer fee for Honda with less than six months left on his contract!
Nobody will do that!
Oh, wait, Galliani paid 8M (?) for Adriano when he had only six months contract left.
No sane person will do that!
Supposedly we are willing to make a 27 million pound offer for Fabregas. I have always been a big fan of his but I feel like this may be a bit late for us to get him. While we do need some players that can offer guarantees, Cesc has lost his legs over the past few seasons so I am not sure that he would be a good fit (especially if we want to play a pressing game).
Far too much for him imo, I can understand why, but as you say we need guarantees.
But what other midfielder that we've been linked to will offer more guarantees than Fabregas?
And yes, I also think that 27mil pounds (which is what, 32mil Euros or so?) is a lot, but maybe that can be brought down.
Not sure if I believe the rumor anyway, but I wouldn't be opposed to it especially at a bit smaller fee...
