Yeah in the last five years or so it became very clear that Galliani and Berlusconi's ways of doing things belonged to a different era. I'll always be grateful to them both for what they've done for Milan, but it is nice to see us operate like a modern football club again.
Alberto Cerrutti from Premium Sport says that he knows for a fact that Raiola has offered Donnarumma to Real Madrid, because he heard it from Perez himself.

I see no reason to doubt that, and I'm sure it also happened before Real decided to stick with the goalkeepers they already have.

This really says something about Raiola though (not that anyone's surprised). There is no good reason for Donnarumma to leave Milan. With us he gets to be part of what is probably going to be a great new Milan generation, he gets to play for the team he supported as a child (which also happens to be one of the biggest clubs in the world), he gets to continue his development as a player in relative peace without the pressure and expectations that come with a massive price tag, and finally he'll also be one of the best paid goalkeepers in the world at the age of 18. What more can you possibly ask for? Any agent who has his player's best interest in mind would tell him to stay.

Raiola seems to be motivated by more than just greed here. It's almost as if he has something against Mirabelli and/or Fassone on a personal level.
It's apparently been 3 hours that Mirabelli's been in a meeting with Conti's agent. I think he's going all out to finalise a deal, as the agent has a meeting with Inter tomorrow.

It's also rumoured that there could be a meeting with Tare from Lazio with the agents of Biglia and Keita.

Another rumour is a meeting will be held with Mendes as he's in Milan.

Fassone already left Casa Milan and I doubt he's gone home with Mirabelli still working Wink
OR, maybe Fassone went to actually meet Mendes while he left Mirabelli to finalize the Conti transfer! Big Grin

I am happy with all the news coming out. I will be ecstatic if we end up getting Conti and I am really warming up to Biglia. I can see how he will be valuable to this squad. What I am not so sure about it Keita to be honest. I know he is talented and I myself have praised him before and said I would want him here. But I hope that we are not overpaying for the pair (Biglia and Keita) as it seems that we might be at the reported 50mil price. And it's not that I mind buying this guys as I'm sure they will come good......I am just scared that we will have no funds left for a couple of world class players (preferably another midfielder and a striker or winger).
Agreement has been reached with Conti. Time to throw $$$ at Atalanta and swoop him up
It's said the personal terms for Conti are all but agreed and he will reject other deals while the clubs work out the fees, 20m expected to be enough

One of the most insane summers I've seen since I started following the club

Yeah this is next level, even for us.

It makes sense too. It seems like the whole plan of the new owners hinges on commercial success in particularly China, but also the world as a whole. I read an article (http://www.acmilaninfo.com/yonghong-li-invest-ac-milan/) today that said that according to the latest numbers we're still the fifth most supported club in the world with 410 million fans globally. We're also the only team in the top 6 to not have won the CL or EL since 2010, so they think the club has massive commercial potential. But for there to be commercial success, we need a winning team asap, and it looks like that's what they're trying to create now. I haven't been this excited before a new season in a long time.

Pepe might bring more red cards but surely we're not comparing him with Paletta here... He's 10 times the defender, even if he is a psycho...
