what if our mercato ended here and we just sell the dead wood??
Well ,than it will be hard to get into CL. Midfield ,the most important part of the team is far far faaaaar away anywhere from acceptable level.

All the hardworks and efforts by F&M in mercato so far will be useless because midfield of Monto and Berto will bring us nowhere..

1st, I did not deny Pippo's greatness by saying he was limited, because we know he became great despite his limit in strength, speed, and skill. So, if you say he is not limited... Big Grin

2nd, does Bacca fit with Silva, Forsberg, and especially James around him? Pippo needed at least his friend Del Piero, and we know what Milan provided him.

3rd, poachers are lazy, clumsy, ineffectively,... but if they score, those negatives are acceptable. So, Bacca was Ok, Matri No. And Bacca needed 174min a goal in his 1st season, so he is improving because he required 10 min less, and he also strarted less & outed earlier.

4th, I don't want an Ibra/Pep drama here. Lets talk things out, especially if the player is a chile ^^

Oh, it's hard to type by phone.

I didn't say Pippo is not limited my friend. I was responding to your comment that he is more limited than Bacca....and I completely disagree.  Okmilan

Don't understand your 4th point and if your comment was towards me or still about Montella/Bacca. If it's about me, we are good. Just a discussion.  Okmilan If it's about Montella/Bacca, than they can talk things out all they want....but it's hard to do that when someone refuses to shake your hand in public to prove a point and than throws a fit when he is out of the game. You have to draw the line somewhere. Again, my comment was a response to the part in your post where you say Montella has to take some responsibility when it comes to Bacca's attitude. I disagree......the only person that has to take responsibility for that is Bacca himself, imo.

And yes, very hard to type by phone....I almost always have to edit my posts multiple times because all the typos  Sagrin
Whether Donarumma stays or not, his relationship with fans is deteriorating by the day. No longer is he an untouchable. I hear so many fans saying online that they are prepared for his exit. In his cockiness Raiola, might be screwing up things for his client.

By saying Pippo is more limited, I meant he didn't possess Bacca's strength, balance, and speed. And Pippo was a typical poacher, that's another limit. I remember some matches when Pippo tried to play deeper, wider, or join the defense but not effective, since he always belongs to the top of a Xmas tree. So I think saying both are limited because of the similarity in striker type is fairer Big Grin

Grown man must take responsibility of himself, but a great coach should try to make the player fight for him, especially when the player is his main source of goal. By forcing the responsibility to Montella, I mean an expectation from good to great.  Sleepy

Look, Raiola is an asshole and we all agree, but lets be perfectly honest, all his clients are heavyweights and none of them has left him, they are all happy by my account. Pogba, Ibra, Mikhitarijan, and others.

What I agree and is not talked here, is the fact that Donna is not that innocent in all this story. If my Italian serves me well, in the interview he said that I am attached to Milan but my interests are my interests, and they are a different story, letting us know that under the right amount I would love to stay.

On the other hand Fassone today by trying to put pressure on Donna, said that they are calm because they have offered Donna a great deal of 4.5 mil annual salary, much better offer than the initial one.

Now if you go and break this up, you will get Fassone and Mirabelli trying to play the emotional attachment card by offering  lower initial offer which was not satisfactory by all means

In this case, Donna without representation, would either accept the offer or maybe just maybe get a 10% increase. But, when you have a hardball manager like Raiola, he shifts the scenery by putting pressure on Milan, and it worked, we upgraded the offer to TOP 3 goalkeeper in the world standard. You dont get that by being the good guy, because Fassone and Mirabelli are not good guys either.

Raiola played his cards right, and kudos to him. And I am sorry, but kudos to Donnaruma for getting from 200.000 annual to 4.5 mil. We have switched jobs for much less..

Now we have a great GK, who on top will be happy, will be motivated and will feel like our best player, which he is. Did you read the story in the interview where he says that he is now able to look and buy a house in Milan. He could not do that until now, with the salary he gets. This gives us a totally new perspective from another point of view, because we only see football from emotional point of view, but football players are professionals and football is their source of income.

Now remember, this is what I got with my Italian which is far from ideal.

Never was convinced of his quality to be honest. Didn't really impress me in his time at Palermo.

At his best Pastore is very good, creative and exciting to watch. His problem is consistency.

Yeah I think a lot of us are ready to let him go, to be honest. The clauses are the problem, also because Milan want players who are 100% on board with the new project. Donnarumma is clearly not, and that's reason enough to sell him, if you ask me.

The main problem of Pastore isn't his consistency on the pitch, because as far as he plays several games in a row, he's always been very good if not excellent. His main problem, and it's why I hope he won't come in Milan, is he seems unable to play more than 2-3 games in a row. He's the Gourcuff of Argentinia, always injured.

About Donnarumma, Fassone stated that he hopes Donnarumma will stay, but there is someone between the club and the player, and this someone is very good in his job (which means he agrees with Kastriot, Raiola looks like a piece of shit, but professionnally, he's getting the maximum for his clients).

About Raiola, there was some history coming back about him recently. He was the agent of Nedved. Nedved never wanted to leave Lazio, so Raiola never played it hard with Lazio. Nedved finally left Lazio when the club had financial problems, Juventus were interested, Raiola negotiated a juicy contract for his client, and then, as Nedved never wanted to leave Juventus again, Raiola never played it hard with Juventus for him (even letting his client go into Serie B with Juventus).
This story was probably written to recall everyone that the agents just do whatever their client, the player, tells them. If Donnarumma asked Raiola to negotiate for a juicy contract, then that explains what has happened so far. Raiola won't make his player leave a club or risk him to be unwanted by playing these games if this player tells him he just wants to stay no matter what.
