They're clearly trying to destroy Raiola (Fassone, Mirabelli and Auro Palomba - one of our legal advisors) so they need to get to Gigio without Mino's interference. If they did admit that they're there to talk to him, Raiola's lawyers will be having a field day and will know exactly how to sue.
As far as I know, the players are employees of the club, and the club's officials are free to discuss whatever they want with the them. Most players prefer to have agents handle these types subjects, but the agents don't own the players, and Mino has no way to sue Milan for taking directly with Donnarumma's relatives. All he and Donnarumma can do is to be angry with Milan for trying to bypass the guy Donnarumma picked to represent him.

That's exactly what I thought too. Mirabelli can speak to Dolla about anything he wants to, because we are still his employer and therefore have unlimited access to him. Now of course, Dolla can deflect all contract talk to Raiola and basically shut Mirabelli down if the topic is brought up, but there are absolutely no legal ground for raiola to sue us for talking to Dolla.
By the way, Dolla taking abuse from Italian fans (not sure if Milan or not) and it's friggin hilarious!
More videos in the link as well.
Oof.. After seeing what happened in Poland tonight I'm not sure if there's any point in Mirabelli going. Our fans may have burned all bridges with the player now.

Haha screw him man! The only way to fix this is to fire Raiola and explain himself, appologize for all the misunderstandings...

Perhaps not to sue, but Raiola has instructed Gigio not to talk to the management regarding the contract at all because that's why Mino is there. It's literally his job to deal with the contract and that's how he got this 18 year old a 5m annual contract rather than a more than reasonable 2.5m annual contract. These are Mino's instructions and Gigi has every right to tell the club to talk to his agent, because he's ignorant in how the system/taxes/procedures work. He cannot possibly be able to sit at a negotiating table and ask for more money because he's not as experienced as his agent. It's basically like the cops taking you in and you are telling them you won't speak without your lawyer being in the picture (as he knows your rights).
I'm not sure if it's illegal but every case is different I suppose.

That's what I always worried about. I knew this was blown out of proportion by impatient and emotionally hurt fans as we clearly witnessed today after reading Raiola's interview and Fassone's words soon after. It's just a case of handling rejection.
In summary Raiola says: Gigio wants Milan, not an economic matter, not an ownership/ambition matter. Basically he's at odds with Mirabelli and he's okay to deal with Fassone going forward but not Mirabelli. They are open to talk for a renewal but he doesn't know if that's possible anymore given the reaction of the fans. He doesn't have any agreement with any club.
Fassone also replied that if Gigio changed his mind they'd welcome him back with open arms because they are certain 100% that Gigio always wanted to stay and this rejection came only from Raiola because he couldn't get a higher cut.
Clearly, the issue is Raiola not getting his cut. The problem is why has Donnarumma allowed Raiola to refuse the contract only because Mino can't get his cut. Raiola is talking in the meetings in Gigio's name in a way Gigio would not have probably approved of, and that's not right. That is why the fans reacted the way they did - we assumed that Raiola = Donnarumma when Raiola is representing Donnarumma (and himself as well, that's where the deal breaker is).. the mismanagement of Raiola is what blew this out of proportion. And my opinion is that Fassone wanted to show Gigio what would happen if he continued to trust Raiola but they did not expect it to be this bad.
Donnarumma's only mistake was putting complete faith in Raiola without his presence. He's 18. He makes mistakes like we all do. But we absolutely roasted him and he's potentially going to be the best goalkeeper of all time... how would we feel when we realize that the real reason he leaves us in the future is because of the reaction of the impatient fans to the news report of Mino refusing the contract renewal (on behalf of Gigio, whether he agreed or not). Are we certain he really is the snake here before all the fans judged him and convicted him and treated him like one? People aren't drawing the line between Gigio & Mino and that's where we get confused.
You guys haven't even heard Gigio talk yet to express his opinion on Milan or on Raiola. It's just been Fassone/Mirabelli x Raiola and we seem to be completely owning Raiola after the recent interview. I love the approach of our management and I'm loving the more and more every day. With or without Donnarumma, I am behind Fassone. Hopefully we find a solution that involves us renewing Gigio whilst somehow pushing Raiola away.
Best of all time?
I mean, he is good, but lets not overrate him too much.
And please for the love of god stop finding excuses for him. IF he wants to stay, and I repeat, IF, he can come out today, fire his agent, sign the contract, apologize to the fans, and I'm sure all of this would have been forgotten pretty soon. But guess what? he DOES NOT want to stay. He is a fucking greedy bastard, same as his agent.
I just hope we bench him for the year.

I totally agree. He is good but not great. He is more like abbiati than buffon base on his performances. People just see that he is only 18 and think that he would become better in future but it might not be the case, many players just stop growing. Niang at 21 is really not much better than 17 for example.
