Niang is the only one that would be taking a spot, Vergara and the like I don't count, if we are willing to give away Poli free then the likes of Vergara someone will take for free or another loan, They weren't really part of the squad last August, except a preseason friendly or two to show case them, either. I am not worried about them taking up spots and making squad too big.

Everyone in soccer will state a big roster is not good for a coach (even if you have 10 useless players). Fassone stated it too.
I'd say that if Poli has to leave for free, guys like Vergara will be hard to offload again and again (the fact their last club doesn't even try to buy them shows how difficult it is to get rid of these useless players). It's lost time which could be used more efficiently ...
I agree Geo, but then last season there was no reason for Vergara finding a team too but he did. I am saying big squad is not going to be the most pressing issue but of course Galliani's random signings will not be fixed in one summer.
The press conference by the management was awesome. I like how these guys are all business. No bullshitting around, they tell it how it is.

I don't want to get overly excited, but the way these guys are talking....we really should not rule out a big "signature" signing. I know that we have talked about it and we all more or less agree that it's going to be very hard (if not impossible) to get someone like Auba/James/etc in....but I don't know. Fassone and Mirabelli are speaking with a certain confidence and that there will be a surprise. I am not necessarily talking about those 2 exact names and just used them as an example.....but I am just saying, so far we have no reason not to believe F&M....so if they are saying "we'll evaluate if we will spend on 1 player or spread the cost over several players", I believe them.

Now of course, that may translate to, "if we get rejected by the big player we are after and unable to convince a different one....than we'll just buy 2-3 'smaller' names"..... Big Grin

We'll see...
This is all just such an extreme and welcome change from the last several years. Just to have so many actually good players get brought in (most bought and not on a 'free loan with option') so early in the transfer window is kind of weird. No more talk of a 'Mr. X' who was hinted at being someone good and always ended up being some scrub from Genoa, no more unknown guys who just happen to be represented by the Raiola's, no more loanees with issues, no more Urby Emmanuelsons...no matter what M&B do or don't do through the end of August, they have basically done more than enough for me. The funny thing is, I have a feeling that they are not done and that there is a big (happy) surprise still to come yet.
Good to see you here RIO

De Sciglio: Juve offering 6 we want 12? In a world where Sandro is 60-70 this is silly.

Juventus ha messo sul piatto 6 milioni di euro per il cartellino di Mattia De Sciglio. Cifra ritenuta troppo bassa dal Milan, che valuta il giocatore 12 milioni.
Quote:Trabzonspor and Milan should close a deal for Kucka tomorrow which will see the player join the Turkish club for €6m [Sky].

Andrea Conti will sign a five-year contract worth €2m+/year [Sky]
Quote:Milan have agreement with Donnarumma and his family but are yet to find one with Raiola [Sky].

For this reason, Fassone and Mirabelli have restarted contacts with other goalkeepers as a precaution [Sky]
I'm gonna assume all of these reports are bullshit, because WHY THE FUCK DO WE NEED AN AGREEMENT WITH RAIOLA???

Mino wants his percentage bro
I want a percentage too, yet no one asks me anything, right?

I mean, who cares what he wants? In the report you posted it said that Milan has an agreement with Dollarumma, right? Assuming thats true, why the fuck would we need an agreement with the fat bastard? Is he gonna play GK for us? Why is it important that we get the agreement with him, and not with me, or you?

Either the report is bullshit, or Dollarumma is Mino's slave. There's no third option.
