I have nothing against him at all, he's a quality Forward and he can definitely score. I do have one slight concern though, Can he maintain the goal scoring after the move?
My preferred is Belotti out of the three but the one thing we can almost guarantee out of the three is that Auba will come here and keep up his scoring... The type's of goals scored have more to do with his pace and prowess in the box and less to do with his technical ability. He's the type of striker that could succeed anywhere. That being said, he might not immediately come and score 40 goals, but he'll definitely not be a Bacca.
Belotti could turn out to be a one season wonder but I doubt it... Plus he's a Milan boy. There's still the likelyhood that he overperformed last season and he's just a good striker rather then a great one and at 80mill thats an expensive risk. Worth it if he works out though... If not, he'd be an 80mill flop.
Morata for me doesn't have the ability, nor is he the right fit, to come in and score more than his usual 15 or so goals... He'd never really impressed me... He's shown some good but never really hit a point where I'd feel comfortable spending over 45mill on him...

Belotti is a High risk High reward type of signing. Auba is the safe bet out of the three . Morata doesn't fit the bill so I wouldn't go after him as a first choice.
Welcome USMilanFan
I think the management have been smart to sign younger players who might still have value if they don't work out here. Adding someone like Biglia to the mix stabilizes the team a bit. Aubameyang's age should not be a concern overall, at this point (after who we have signed already) a bit more experience is probably better than not. European experience especially.
did we overpay for berto when we sign him? yes, did we overpay him now? yes
did we overpay roma when we sign him? yes, did we overpay him now? no
it all depends on the performance of the player, sometimes a pricetag can be a burden to some, sometimes it doesnt
i just hope when we sign 1 of the 3, they wont be burden with the pricetag
i'm definitely on board the idea of signing kalinic with bacca's money, investing all the remaining budget on verratti or dembele. ousmane allows us to play 343 and also 4231 and 352 becomes interesting with dembele/silva being the deadly duo of the team.
verratti would just be a dream right about now. our midfield looks good but i feel we're missing one great midfielder still to be able to challenge for the Scudetto/EL. Calhanoglu can come good/great but he'll need time to adapt to Serie A. He can play further up front until he learns the system then Montella will gradually bring him back to the midfield trio. Verratti represents the icing on the cake for many Italians who admire the little magician. He'd be overpriced though and looks like we have a meeting on Saturday for Renato Sanches. He's a player thats very similar to Kessie so I'm trying to understand what's the plan?
next game against bayern we should look more like: donnarumma; conti, musacchio, bonucci, rr; kessie, biglia, hakan; borini, silva, Bonaventura
7 players that haven't started the dortmund game. can't wait to watch the game.
Plot Twist. Belotti, Aubameyang and Morata were smoke screens.
Surprise forward incoming. Could it be?

If Lukaku didn't go to Man Utd then I'd have said Lukaku.
So... maybe Cavani? He's on fire in Ligue 1, knows Serie A...

I also love to see those in bold, but I think Montella will give the "busy" players more rest and gradually inject newcomers to the team.
Musa & Hakan will continue.
Donnarumma could be the older one
Silva is quite likely.
Conti, Bonnuci & Biglia departed from Milan 7 hours ago, so I don't think they will play that early.

Silva only got there with Bonnuci, Biglia and Conti...
And I dare say Montella is "working" the new players through as well as giving game time to some outgoing players... making them more appealing for potential buyers
