It seems bringing money out of China is not easy.

It’s been reported long ago, this is not a new story and nothing to worry about. Guarantees has been made for Lazio and Juventus, otherwise they wouldn’t have let the deals transpire. It is a mere formality and will be resolved by the mid August.
I still believe this is the right time for #Aubumeback. Not next season. We need a WC striker, he's on his peak, "his return" will highlight our return as well as Top club. (At least from mercato point of view)

No.7 jersey (report says we reserve for him) will be selling like hot pancakes in China. Thats huge income "to compensate" for money spent on him.

Come on FM, this is ALL I ask from you #Aubumeback  Devilcool
haha... I agree...It's now or nothing...
in 12 months time other teams might likely be looking also... Say one of Lukaku/Morata don't work... or Real Madrid decide they need a new striker... Another good season and 70 might become 100...
70 for a 28 year old is better then 70(worst case) for a 29 year old... Unless he scored 10 goals, his value won't drop but another good season and it'll likely go up... More interest or no...
If you had to name the top 5 strikers in the world in the past 3-4 years, Aubameyang would certainly be up there on many people's lists. He is an absolute huge name, and has the goals and ability to back it up. At the moment, he is the best option by far. Obviously Diego Costa is a very enticing option as well and just as big of a name....but I don't like this 6 month/1 year thing. We need a player that will want to be here for the next 3/4 years so that we don't have to buy a striker next summer again.
On the Ronaldo topic, I think it's unrealistic but I'd still take him. Crazy to say that his product is the only benefit he'll bring. With his ego, he will never allow himself to dip even 1% in form. Players in their 30's really tend to get lazy and do not train at a high intensity anymore/lose ambition. Ronaldo is the opposite, he is hungrier every year and always wants to be the best. Someone like him will retire before making a fool of himself I can guarantee it, so as long as he's willing to continue playing I guarantee he'll be a 30-40 goals+ per season player for the rest of his career.

100m transfer fee for Ronaldo + 30-40m in salary every year I'd take all day any day if we can afford it.
It would instantly put us back at the top of the world with every football fan and possibly be the biggest statement market in history.
My favorite player in history next to Sheva tbh.

On more realistic notes, Diego Costa or Aubameyang are my top choice but just like nefremo said I don't like this temporary BS. If we get any player, I want him to love the shirt and be a part of our project and Milan's general bigger picture. Belotti is a valid option as well, and I'm sure glad we passed on Morata especially at that ridiculously stupid price (almost 80mln euros w. bonuses).

I have a feeling our management has something massive planned. We've already spent 200m or w.e & they don't even seem phased by it. They promised a very big signing for attack & I can guarantee we're also going to sign another midfielder. In fact, I think we may sign a winger too.

Keita+Diego Costa+Kovacic would be the dream!
Juve signed Bernardeschi + Douglas Costa. I don't see Keita being on the radar for them. Regardless, I don't really want a player who didn't jump at the opportunity to play for us. If we actually do renew our interest in him, I'd expect some clarification on the actual situation.

Also, good read to further Fassone+Mirabelli's amazing work:
http://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/cit...nti--98185

Pretty much says that Milan have done genius work buying Conti+Rodriguez+Bonucci for only 85mln while City have spent 138mln for 3 defenders. I'd take the 3 we got over those 3 any day - what a rip off!

Honestly, this mercato could also turn out a surprise. We've been playing 4-3-3 all of our preseason, looks like it will be our lineup. If that's the case, maybe our big signing will be someone like Alexis Sanchez & we'll sign Kalinic as back-up for Silva.

1 - Ronaldo is unrealistic but anyone that says there's no point in signing him(given we have the opportunity and the funds to) should follow another sport. As you've said, he'll continue to put 100% until he retires. And he'll retire when he can no longer put ion 100%

2- Pretty much my sentiment. Not overly impressed in us signing him unless we get clarification that he's here to fight and stay long term.

3- It's curious because we've been going for a "top" striker with what looks like the intention of playing two up front, only we've player the 4-3-3 the whole time. WE're currently stuck in the middle... Not enough strikers for 4-3-1-2 or similar. Not enough wingers for a 4-3-3 or similar...

If we could buy Diego Costa for 40-50M, do you think this is the better choice than Aubameyang for 70M Big Grin

And I also think Batshuayi for 40-50M is better than Belotti for 70M, let alone 100M. We linked with the Belgian a lot last year.

It seems the best deal is not yet to be seen!
