Though we ( I ) still expect Aubameback  Devilcool we basically have identified problems and signed what were needed.

I think people underestimate teams like Roma and Inter....Juve and Napoli play for win scudetto.
We have a good defense maybe the best in italy ,a good midfield , the offensive department formed by Silva,Kalinic,Cutrone,Borini and Suso + Niang for me it is not absolutely good (and I do not write it for now, but for a month)...For example for me Cutrone need go to play (on loan) Now many people think it is a phenomenon but it is not, is experiencing a magical moment but this will end,Niang he has to go ,Borini a player who struggles and runs but remains a mediocre player,Silva i like him and have nice skill but first experience in italy is difficult,Kalinic maybe the only certainty we have but has never scored many goals is a player who helps the team a lot...Suso for me is ur best player but more assist man then goleador.
Also in my opinion, we need another midfielder a change for Kessie.

I remain of my idea, we should buy a real top striker and close the mercator and then sell players.
Now i hope we can sell players like Sosa,Gomez,Paletta,Mauri and Niang and buy a winger and midfielder.

3.5.2 Donnarrumma,Romagnoli,Bonucci,Musacchio,Conti,Biglia,Kessie,Bonaventura(Chalanoglu),R.Rodriguez,Silva(Suso),Kalinic.  (Suso and Chalanoglu ?)
4.3.3 Donnarrumma,Conti,Romagnoli(Musacchio),Bonucci,Rodriguez,Biglia,Kessie,Bonaventura,Chalanoglu,Kalinic(Silva),Suso  (Musacchio,Silva)

Milan will play 3.5.2 or 4.3.3
Reports about Sosa accepting Trabzonspor.
Other reports about Niang : Raiola would want him to join Torino instead of Russia.

About Paletta and Gomez, if we sell both, we'll have 4 DC :
- Bonucci who isn't injury prone
- Musacchio who suffered a lot of injuries in his career
- Romagnoli who is injured
- Zapata who isn't too much injury prone, but is a play we shouldn't rely on anymore

I'd keep Gomez and try to offload Zapata if we really want to keep 4 defenders only.
We would have a perfect mix of an experienced leader (Bonucci), an experienced player (Musacchio) and two young players who are already used to Serie A (Romagnoli being the one competing for the starting spot of course).

Situation of Milan today, winger (Keita) if Cutrone stays otherwise will go for a forward. If Sosa leaves then two midfielders could arrive; arrival in defense only if Paletta leaves.

For midfield Sanches and a new name.

Gomez also has offers and Milan is evaluating his sale but Paletta remains the primary choice to depart/sell.

And then just now....

Well...
  1. They have contracts,
  2. They live in one of the greatest city in the world,
  3. They have the basic needs fulfilled,
  4. probably apartment which'd cost a lot even for a small size in Milan,
  5. a brand new sponsored car (and fashion wear, maybe),
  6. super healthy food provided by club's nutritionist,
  7. a free pass to use "At Milanello there are six regular pitches, 1 in synthetic grass (35 m x 30), 1 covered pitch with synthetic ground (42 m x 24) and a small-sized outdoor pitch in grass named "cage" because the playing field is surrounded by a 2,30 m high wall and topped by 2,5 m high fencing. Inside the cage, the play never stops, with the ball always in motion in order to enhance the speed of execution. A path running through the woods ca. 1,200 m long at various altitudes is used during the season for the players’ physical training (running and biking) and for the recovery of injured players. The main building of the centre is a two-floor building (plus the basement) hosting the offices, the players’ rooms, the chimney room, a TV-room, a pool-room; a bar, a kitchen, two dining-rooms, the press room, the meeting room, the laundry, the ironing-room and the medical centre. Next to the main building the "guest-quarters" are located, where also a few players from the Youth Department live. These youngsters, coming from various parts of Italy and from abroad too, go to school as all other teen-agers and in the afternoons attend their training sessions on the field made available to them."
  8. have instructor/ trainer access,
  9. And most importantly, they still get paid for doing nothing

Same here ! You killed my day ... I don't thank you !
Milan369 and Andrea, I'm not in disagreement with either of you on the attack needing work. It just goes to show how poorly built our squad was that we sign 11 players and we're still stuck with Niang and Borini as first choice bakups for the wide areas.

However, I do disagree that Cutrone should go out on loan, even if we were to get another top striker. If he's ready he should stay and play a role (even small), and so far this summer he shows he deserves to stay. He's been excellent in his time at the youth level, scoring constantly and it seems he's learning to translate that to the senior level. He's also said he wants to stay at the club this season, so I think we should let him. Finally, there are instances where young talents can benefit more from staying in their club, playing off the bench and growing with his teammates than going on loan where a club may have no incentive to play him.

I agree, when was the last time a player we loan out became a first team player? Almost never.
Fassone says the team is NOW complete. With the players we have right now. I don't think he is lying....BUT if we sell Paletta, Gomez, Niang, and Sosa....than the team won't be complete anymore. Big Grin So I fully expect us to sign a couple of players if we sell those I mentioned above. The question, obviously, is who those players will be. I don't expect any big names or fireworks, but that's all good if we sign solid players to fill the voids.

If we go by recent rumors that we had a big sum set aside for a top CF, and we have already spent some of that on Kalinic...than I expect that there is something left in the bank for sure. We will obviously get something from the sales also.

Either way, more signings or not, I am 100% satisfied with the market. We have improved our squad so much and I think we are in for a very good surprise this year.
