Sky is saying that the Musacchio deal is done. 18mil (I saw somewhere else that this is actually 15mil + 3mil in bonuses....not sure which is correct, but no big difference anyway) and a 4 year deal.
Honestly, I think that he is the right type of defender to play next to Romagnoli. Physical, Explosive, Fast, great in 1v1 situations. The biggest drawback is the injury issues he's had in the past but he has made 30 appearances this season already, so hopefully all that is behind him.
On Ghoulam, there were reports that Napoli doesn't want to sell him to Milan. Obviously they will sell in the end if we offer enough money....but we also don't want to overpay because they surely will charge a premium because they'd be selling within Serie A. Either way, the LB position is one of the priorities imo so I don't mind if we spend a good sum and fix that position for the next few years.
Ghoulam would be a fantastic signing, in my opinion, he's the ideal fullback.
Musacchio is a good pickup for that price and I'd happily spend the extra for Ghoulam. I still think we should be looking at Kolasinac though...
Ignoring the initial fee. Chances are salary would be significantly higher for Ghoulam. Plus I doubt Ghoulam's willingness to want to leave for another italian club considering he's always said he's a Napoli fan. He might hang of for a deal from EPL or La Liga.
Apparently we might be interested in Kalinic for 35m...

Honestly don't think he's even close to being worth that, he's a good player, but that's an insane price imo.

Allan would be a decent pick up and better then most that we have.
As for Kovacic, I don't see why he and Fabregas couldn't work together, but we would definitely need to pick up a DM if that was the case. Luis Gustavo being the most affordably option.
My reasoning is I think both Fabregas and Kovacic perform very similar roles on the pitch in helping to dictate how their team plays. While Kovacic has the ability to play more as a box to box player, given his ability to drive forward while dribbling, I think to compliment him it would make sense to have a natural mezzala/shuttler.
I'd also take Kovacic over Fabregas if possible, his potential is just immense and he's already stepping up at Real to be a really strong player.
I think you're right about maybe getting Luiz Gustavo either way, I think he'd be very useful if we're looking to get technical midfielders in and would be someone who can naturally rotate with Locatelli.
Kalinic is a very good target Cf. Always able to bring the ball down and hold it up under pressure. Very good first touch. HOWEVER, that's about it. Doesn't score as many goals as a 35mil striker should. All in all, I can see why Montella would want him but there is absolutely no way this dude is worth 35mil at 29 years old. I don't think we should go for him.

So he basically says that there will be cash influx of about 120mil, but not all of it is for the transfer market as the operational expenses will be covered with that money too. I am assuming any cash from sales will be added to this.
At least that's what I'm understanding from this interview.
Musachio is a done deal for around 18M, while for Kessie we offer him 5yr contract 2.2M/yr afterwhich we will nego with Atalanta for 28M. These two already give me excitement for upcoming season
of course ultimate target still Abumeyang, Isco, Kovacic etc
Apparently, we will try to work deals in installments equaling the total 300m over 3 years. Most 40m+ transactions don't get paid in one shot anyways.
Musacchio is a done deal, and apparently, we are close to signing De Vrij as well. Two CB's? Maybe that's unnecessary money spent if this is the case. That'll be about 50-60m spent with no reinforcements in attack or midfield.
Where did you see the De Vrij news? Last time I saw his name linked was a week or so ago and most recent news I've seen since than say that we are no longer interested as we are close to signing Musacchio.
So Fassone and Mirabelli have been in a meeting with executives from Atalanta for close to 2 hours now, according to Milannews. They have a video of it too. It looks as if we may have Kessie and Musacchio wrapped up before the season is even over...
