Sounds good... Fixes multiple problems actually... Finds homes to the homeless as well as bringing in a quality striker, who loves the club, who still has many years to improve...
Milan “are particularly interested in Andrea Belotti” after today’s meeting.
Please let it be more then just "interest"
on Zapata
the Rossoneri will receive €1.1m from FIFA after the Colombia international needed ankle surgery after the tournament.
Use that 1.1mill to give to him to cancel his contract...
I would be bouncing off the wall if we bought Belotti. Too good to be true.
He's our next Shevchenko. Of all the players out there right now, his potential excites me more than anyone. His strength, explosiveness and ability to finish is better than I've seen in a very long time. I probably wouldn't pay over 50m for him though. The best deal we could ask for is if they take like 35-40m and Kucka/Poli off our hands. I'll be honest, I liked Kucka up until the last half of this season. He's been ineffective and careless.
What ive seen is the meeting was set to discuss Torino wanting Kucka & Poli and the possibility of Niang if Watford dont want him.
The subject was breached , but Caira is staying firm he wants the €94m clause paid and despite the fact its for foreign clubs he wont budge on it for Italian clubs either.Be it this summer or next summer.
The more likely I hear is next summer , with Belotti having another 25 goal + season and a World Cup under his belt they see that as the time to sell.
We will have to stump up €80m minimum and I dont see Cairo saying yeah €45m plue Niang Kucka Poli das good.He wants the money.
I think we can play a hard bargain with Belotti if he can push for a move. Torino can demand what they want, but if the player is left dissatisfied and is forced to stay, his value could depreciate heavily next season if he doesn't perform as well. I think Torino are putting on a brave face, but they will negotiate, especially as it seems most suitors seemingly aren't prepared to pay 100m, and the one that seemed most likely (Chelsea), seem ready to get Morata.
On Belotti, the risk is there, but I've watched him for a few years now (previously with Italy youth teams) and he's always impressed. I've had some hesitation in the past, but I think his mentality is his biggest strength, it's what makes me believe he will be a success.
In addition to him, there's links that we're talking to Torino about Zappacosta, Barreca, Baselli and obviously Belotti. I'm fine with getting Zappacosta for the squad, I just wonder whether it's necessary given we will almost certainly still have Abate and Calabria (unless he's loaned out). On the left, Barreca is perhaps of interest, as I suspect we'll be seeing huge changes there in the squad. Baselli I don't really fully understand, I don't know what is seen to think he's going to be what we need, even as a squad player.
We're also linked to Kessie, Papu Gomez, Conti and Petagna. I've said my thoughts on most, the only one I've not mentioned is Conti, who I rate but not totally sure how he'll fit.
Kjaer's another being linked, who could be a useful addition for the squad to add depth. I presume one of Zapata or Paletta would be leaving if he came (assuming we're getting Musacchio or someone for the first team), although there are rumours teams in Spain are looking at Gomez too.
Anyone seeing this.....?!!!!! We need to get Sanchez from Ajax this guy is genius

Such a shame about that undeserved penalty. This is when cries for a football ref come up again as the replay showed lacazetta was just not balanced properly and the ball was touched by de ligt....
That Traoré guy is good too, he's everything that Balotelli isn't hahaha (runs back 60 meters to defend a ball)

Ah well Ajax will reach the finals i gues.
Haha if he could also score like Balo! He misses too much chances in my opinion.
