There was talk this weekend of the club dissolving and therefore they would lose all their remaining matches 0-3 while the completed matches would stand. It would be really sad to see Parma go out this way. Sampdoria's president is trying to rally the other Serie A clubs to help save Parma but I haven't seen any updates yet today.
Big games this weekend: Inter v Fiorentina and Torino v Napoli on tomorrow, Sunday. Roma vs Juventus on Monday. Should be some great matches!
Out of those 3 games, I was only able to catch the Roma vs Juventus game. It was a pretty dull affair to be honest. Juve could have and should have killed the game, especially since they were a goal up and Roma went down to 10 men. Ultimately I think they were content with sharing the points because it's unlikely that Roma will overturn that 9 point deficit, plus Juve hold the H2H record as well.

Impressive that Torino was able to beat Napoli and Fiorentina also beat Inter.

Reza: Is there a website whose league tables copy and paste nicely to the forum? Copy and paste doesn't work well and I'm entirely too lazy to type out the league table every time Grinundwech
I don't recall ever seeing a proper one for a forum, the closest one is using the [ code ][ /code ] (no spaces in side the brackets) around it but that's not always good

Parma's president arrested today.

From football italia:
The major news outlets in Italy are now reporting that Manenti was arrested this morning along with another 21 individuals. His dealings with Parma have been alleged to be illegal and the President is now charged with embezzlement and money laundering.
Can someone please arrest Berlusconi too? Okay I am just joking, but I am so desperate for an administration change for our beloved Milan.
Sad to see

Quote:Parma have officially been declared bankrupt, and will have to be funded by the Lega Serie A to finish the season.

It is not clear whether the club’s players will now finish the season, with midfielder Daniele Galloppa warning earlier today that it would ‘depend on many things’.

There is a plan in place from the Lega Serie A and the FIGC to fund the club until the end of the season, with the money coming from fines paid by other Serie A teams.
Apparently in terms of European trophies won, Parma is still the fourth successful team in Italy after only Milan, Juventus and Inter.

How sad...
The situation is sad for those who have an attachment to the club, but this isn't really surprising. It's a situation and farce that sums up Italian football pretty well.
