and it's a done deal

Welcome Ronaldo (?)
Seems like a done deal. Good one for serie A.  Devilcool
Well its bad as much as its good

The thieves will continue to dominate the league, which makes it boring to watch.
I think it's more good than bad for the league

Juve was gonna win again regardless. It does widen the gap but now teams will have to do more to close it
Fuck this shit. I like CR7 but I hope he fails gloriously with Ladri. I am sick of them winning the league every year.
I don't see how this is bad for Serie A. Juventus was going to dominate with or without Ronaldo. This at least gives the league some relevance. I want the best players to play in Serie A. I want interest in the league because we will undoubtedly benefit from it too somehow.

The last few years, nobody cares about this league. Unless you became a fan of Milan, Inter, Juventus in the 90s or early to mid 2000s, you don't care about Serie A. Juventus has brought back some relevance to the league the last couple of years, as well as Napoli with Sarri's brand of football......but even so, Serie A is far and away behind England and even Spain (obviously all because of Real and Barca). But Real and Barca are the prime example of a league whose entire popularity is based on these 2 teams. Because of that, the entire league has benefited in one way or another.

It's up to us and Inter to follow suit now. We have some serious problems now, but if/when the ownership changes, there is no reason why Serie A can't become a 3/4 team battle for the top within a couple of years. I see Ronaldo as a possible start to that. Yes, Juventus will dominate this year, but the door that they've opened along with Ronaldo means that other Serie A sides can possibly now benefit. When I say "other Serie A sides", I am mostly talking about Inter and Milan. The rest just don't have the following to do so. At least not now. Like him or not, Ronaldo is the most influential player in the world in terms of brand popularity. People that don't know anything about football, not even the fact that it's played with a ball, know about Ronaldo. I don't like the guy's attitude, don't get me wrong, but we have to recognize his influence.
I am rather indifferent. I think it is a good thing for Serie A, but seeing Juventus getting absolutely out of reach is also frustrating. For those who follow NBA, you probably know that Cousins recently decided to joined Golden State Warriors, leaving the rest of the league no chance whatsoever to even dream of catching them. This is exactly the same. Ridiculous.

All things end

Remember this when we dethrone Juve
... or (more likely) when someone else dethrone juve.
Doesn't bother me, by the time we solve our issues Ronaldo will have retired....
