Napoli 4-1 Roma. Cavani scored a hattrick.

This match concludes the first half of 2012-13 Serie A season. We are 7 points off the 3rd place (mafia), 9 points off the 2nd place (nazio), and 14 points off the top (scum).

19 matches left to catch up. Forza Milan.
I read that Allegri said that the two points Napoli got docked may actually be reversed. If that happens, it would be bad news from Milan, and another joke for Italian football.

Anyone has any news on that?
Milan are the worst in head to head with other top 7 teams and Inter lead

Hardly a surprise imo. Truth is, it doesn't make a huge difference, we're not a special team this season, but we can maintain consistency in our overall results to aim high. Just look at Juve, they're not doing good either vs the top 7 but they're 1st with a 5 point lead.
So Inter won today; so did Bologna. I heard that Gilardino scored two goals. They must be very confident coming to San Siro next week.

Imagine Gilardino still with us. He was once our hope for the future but could never get out of the shadow of Shevchenko and Inzaghi. I bet that he would be better than Pazzini if he still played with us (don't ask me why; I can't prove it Big Grin).
Out of 6 teams higher than Milan on the table, 3 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses.

Inter 2-0 Pescara
Catania 1-0 Roma
Lazio 2-0 Atalanta
Parma 1-1 Juventus
Napoli 3-0 Palermo
Udinese 3-1 Fiorentina

The standing now after 20 weeks:

1. Juventus 45
2. Lazio 42
3. Napoli 40
4. Inter 38
5. Fiorentina 35
6. Roma 32
7. Milan 30 (one match in hand)
8. Udinese 30
9. Parma 30
10. Catania 29

We are only 1 point higher than Catania. It all depends on how Milan can win our own games.
What's going on with Juve? I would have thought they would be much further ahead of Lazio by now. If we win our match this afternoon then we go up to 6th! Slowly but surely climbing that table Big Grin

after 20 rounds,

1. Juventus 45
2. Lazio 42
3. Napoli 40
4. Inter 38
5. Fiorentina 35
6. Roma 32
7. Milan 31
8. Udinese 30
9. Parma 30
10. Catania 29

We didn't manage to climb up the table after all. Angry Every time we were two points away from Roma and one win would have taken us leapfrog them to the sixth, we failed. Damn the luck.

Actually it was not luck; both matches we were simply atrocious.
Napoli could have their two lost points back before the end of the season ... I don't know what's the point in giving them -2 and now talking about giving them back these 2 points ...

Lazio could lose 5 points before the end of the season (also because of Calcioscommesse) ... Which is very good news for the 3rd spot ...
