then let's buy him
His wages are €3.5m/yr, but Corriere dello Sport claims that there’s a €2.5m wage cap on any new players
Milan wants Theo #Hernandez on loan with the right of redemption, and will evaluate offers for #Rodriguez. Talks also ongoing for #Ceballos, and tomorrow there will be another meeting for #Veretout.

If our wage cap is €2.5 million, what's the point of trying for Ceballos? His wage at Real Mdrid is €4 million. Pretty sure he's not interested in lowering it.

Well Corriere dello Sport is reporting it and they're unreliable

I typed it into Google and the first 3 sites all have Ceballos listed as getting 22,500 a week which id near 1.2 million a year.Cant speak of how reliable maybe one copies the other.
I also wouldnt believe the salary cap nonsense.

Correct

Yep. Massive fan of Ceballos. Would like Mayoral as a backup but my issue is the price he'd potentially come for.

(06-22-2019, 11:28 AM)nefremo Wrote: [ -> ]So Sensi will end up costing Inter 30mil. That IS an excessive and I'm glad we didn't agree to that valuation.

New rumors now say Suso will leave. The Suso rumor cycle starts again I guess. He'll be leaving for a week, then staying for a week. Repeat.

Republica says Gordon Singer told Boban a limit of 2.5mil cap on net salaries for new players.
So let me get this right...we have a CEO, we have a CFO, but Boban has to go to London for Gordon to tell him this?? On top of it, how the hell did Republica find this out???
I know it's silly season, but holy shit!!! Can this get any more ridiculous?!!?

In other news, the Torreira links just won't go away. I believe we are interested, but I also believe we won't overpay. His value should be around 35mil. Latest rumors say Arsenal wants 50, and that's too much.

If we manage to get Ceballos and Torreira, with a full season for Paq and Bonaventura back...the midfield quality is already double from how we started last season.

I'd like Sensi but not at that price. No way.

Ceballos and Torreira in one transfer window would be amazing.

Kessie's only good attribute is that he's physical.  He's certainly better defensively but he's not the type of mid Giampaolo can use

I'd be happy with 35m and I think 35 is fair.

(06-22-2019, 08:12 PM)AC_Troy Wrote: [ -> ]That's 45m pounds which equates 50m EUR.  Regardless, I think that's fair

I don't see why we don't come up with some sort of a swap deal with kessie. i think his physicality would suit EPL.

With Boban on board I'm sure it wasn't coincidental that he was hired with his vast experience/connections within FIFA. Reports are always going to make up the worst possible news, but I feel like Milan will still have a healthy budget.

What I'm disappointed about is the news that Cutrone will be sold if a 25-30m offer arrives, but we're going to keep Andre Silva. Milannews reports that the decision was financial, because if they sold Silva they'd show a loss because of what we paid for him, which would limit our spending even more. Cutrone would be a +25-30m on our books. Don't know the specifics as I've never really followed FFP limitations, but that's what I was reading.

I like this kid, but not completely opposed to selling him... but 25m is too cheap.

(06-23-2019, 04:12 AM)nefremo Wrote: [ -> ]Watched the Spain-Poland U21 game today........and Ceballos looked like a man among children in that game. So much composure, so much technical ability on the ball, speed of thought, vision, confidence. I also saw the 1st half of Italy-Spain the other day, and he was bossing the midfield in that game too. Obviously scored that great goal too. This is exactly the kind of player we need and if we can get this guy for 35-40mil, then we shouldn't think twice about it. Just to put it in perspective....Fabian Ruiz (the Napoli player that everyone loves and is so impressed with) played in this game....and put it this way, he was good, very good actually scoring a great goal...but he was no Ceballos.

Dani Olmo also played in this game. We've been linked to him several times in the last few months. Played well and was a right winger. Nothing extraordinary that jumped out though, to be honest. If I compare him to Ceballos, we are talking about 2 different classes of players. To put it simply, I don't think Olmo is ready to give us a jump in quality, but he's a good young player.

If Maldini can pull off a Ceballos-Torreira double this summer, our midfield would be back in business. As a matter of fact, if things go as they should, the midfield quality would be on par with Napoli/Juve and superior to Inter/Roma.

Transfer market of: Krunic, Kabak, Ceballos, Torreira + SS would be a 9.5/10 for me. The only thing that would bring it to a 10/10 is an upgrade at LB.

Yes please! Again, I'm a massive fan of Theo Hernandez. I would go one further and say my ideal would be if we sold our current three LB and replaced them with Hernandez and Murro.
Looks like free loan for Hernandez. Milan pays his wages of 2m with an option to buy for 18-20m
