We paid Piatek's transfer (35mil) in ONE installment. Something unheard of in football for the most part. So if that's not indication that we have cash, then I don't know what is. Milan (or I should say Elliot) has the cash, but without sales like the one of Cutrone, we can't spend it.

On Kessie...not sure how "he hasn't failed" in Milan. He was brought in as a young player that was expected to be a fundamental piece of the midfield. 2 years later, it's as if he's actually getting worse. It went from Kessie is a starter, to we need someone to challenge him for his spot, and now to we need someone to replace him. Can he stay and not be sold? Sure. But no way in hell would I risk starting the season with him as a starter. It was painful to watch our midfield last season and don't wanna do it again.

Your example make sense but any information on the web state that we actually have much money for transfers?

I wont say he has failed. He is still 22 years old now which means he came to Milan when he was still 20 years old. He has not shown big improvement yet but to say he has failed is harsh IMO. He has been starter even though his form still has not fulfill our expectation. You mentioned that we need someone to challenge him and I think young player definitely need challanges. We can imagine, a young player starts for Milan without any player who can compete with him. He should feel safe with his position in the starting line-up and this is not good for his development due to lack of motivation to always give the best on the field. However what I think he miss is someone who could lead him to improve his game and hopefully our new coach is the right man to bring the best of Kessie.

30M + Kessie.
News coming from Spain that negotiations between Milan and Atletico Madrid for Correa have slowed down as the Spanish club asks for an important investment which Milan might not need to do considering the deal for Rafael Leao [Sky]

Atletico remain firm and want at least €50M for Correa, but Milan don’t feel like they need to pay that much for him considering they are about to close a deal for Rafael Leao [Sky Italia]

excellent correa is a funny player waste of money. back to Deulofeu
So Correa and Leao are dependent on each other, not both, but we are selling both Silva and Cutrone....lol ok, Giampaolo better be a miracle worker

(of course when I reply it is on assumption that rumour is true)
Sky reports that we are close to Leao and still want Correa too. But we're still a few millions apart or down to bonuses and how to activate them.

Or 20M + Suso. Anyway, Juve and Man Utd are also interested. Probably just silly season paper talk with no substance.

Every time Gazidis and Maldini speak, they repeat the same thing. That Elliot is ready to invest important sums but any investment has to fit within the FFP parameters. Not sure what other information we would need. If we follow what's happening in the market, it actually all makes sense and ties back to those Gazidis/Maldini comments.

If true, I think it's likely more that with Leao Wrapped up, we're less likely to submit to Atletico's demands because we already have a starter that way? Just an idea. Every report I've read has delays relating to $$$. we're likely pushing for 40+ bonuses and they're trying to hold out for 50 +

yep. The way we're conducting ourselves in the market shows we have the $$. Also shows we're being cautious with wages and what types of players playing into the "buying players that suit Giampaolo" and "being mindful of FFP"
Apparently Leo Duarte is all but official.
