Well it may be something that happens.

Put it this way, in order to get around FFP, we'll have to raise money. Making the CL increases our revenue by at least 50M. With that in mind, if we sell Suso for let's say 35M, then our revenue next year will be an increase of 85mill which is huge. We can do a lot with that money. Remember...85mil in revenue can easily provide a 150mil (or more) transfer campaign if we have the cash (Elliot has the cash, it's not a problem).

BUT, if we don't make the CL, how do we still increase our revenue to that 85mil mark? A possibility is selling Donnarumma.

As with all player sales....the problem is that they increase your revenue that 1st year. It's only a hit in the first year. So that means that we absolutely would have to make the CL in the following year as if we don't, then we are forced to sell again, and again.....it's a vicious cycle.

Best case scenario is to make the CL and to have a responsible campaign. That's, spend money but don't push the limits. Don't put ourselves where not making the CL the following year kills us and sets us back several years.

NOW, look at this scenario.....we make the CL (at least 50mil increase), we sell Suso (35mil) and we sell Gigio (50mil). That's a 135mil increase in revenue next year. That can make this summer's market absolutely massive! Big Grin But again...where do you find that kind of revenue every year. That's why the key is not to sell players, but to grow the revenue through other streams. Making the CL every year obviously is a big step towards that.

If we also spreading out costs over next few transfer windows means we end up having the money (FFP Wise) to buy more players this off season.
obvious downside means we'll have to continue to make CL to continue spending.
I think its not easy to find buyer since most European top teams are set with their goalies..
I still think there is a market for Donnarumma. When Oblak, Ter Stegen & Allison go for 65-80m+, I think 50m might even be a bit low for Donnarumma. I'd expect somewhere around 65-70 for him considering his age and what he's done so far. Not the greatest with his feet, but he's probably the best, if not top 3 at actually saving the ball.

Raiola should send him to PSG

I think so too but at 50m we'd almost definitely have a buyer.
as for who... De Gea has been woeful this season so would Man U be looking for a new keeper.
Buffon isn't going to last forever so would P$G be interested.
Curtois has been a flop so are Real going to give him another season.
There is always someone interested in young talented players.
I'd sell Donnarumma and stick with Reina until Plizzarri is ready

I think PSG would buy Donnarumma, but you're right in any case. Most big clubs would be interested in a player like Donnarumma no doubt.
Conte close to Juve return.

They can have him. He showed some promise but he's also shown that his attitude stinks. Even without the attitude... not worth 35m.

I second this.
