lol, I still hold the same opinion about Ninis as when I responded to that thread over a year ago.
I think if we're struggling to find a DM then maybe we should look at CBs in the market who can play the role well. We've done it successfully in the past with Rijkaard and Desailly, as well as Thiago Silva more recently. There are players out there who can successfully do this too, Kyriakos Papadopolous being an example of one.
Or maybe Milan should just not play with a true DM but rather 2 CMs like how Germany did.

We need wide attacking players or players capable of doing that then; something like Gotze/Podolski/Schurlle/Reus/Marin/Muller/Kroos, you know what I mean...
Right now we had Cassano, Robinho, SES... we need to spend for more wide players and that word (spend) should be enough to show why we can't play like that.
It is reported that Balzaretti would either stay at Palermo or go to PSG. Milan is not in his his plan, I guess money is playing a role here.
Well, Boateng can play the wide role, so is Pato. Then there is Verdi and Kingsley from youth. Lastly, there is always Urby.
in a way, if there is no more signing, I really would like to see Nocerino and Constant at DM/CMs with Monty playing in front of them with Boateng and Cassano out wide and Ibra in the middle. It might just work.
Verdi doesn't seem to have the physique to play on a high professional level, but one can always argue that if it can be made up by intelligence, but unfortunately I personally don't see that in Verdi either. Of course, I only watched a few games of his so I can be biased.
Verdi is the same size as Messi, Gotze, and Iniesta.

Just read the title : it's false ... Made up story.
Piersilvio Berlusconi talked about some of the players he liked in the Euro, and he said Carrol impressed him thanks to his physical abilities, and nothing more. He never said he'd like to have him in Milan nor anything of that kind ...
Made up translation, which is going to be translated come tomorrow in Italian, and it's the way the rumours are created !!
