Cristante is impressive so I hope he can step up in the next few years to replace ambro eventually

The irony of course is that success in CL accounts for the largest revenue for most clubs these days.
Here's someone who talks back at Galliani Devilol

You all know how I think of Galliani, and he probably deserves much mockery, but that guy Nicollin is just rude and distasteful. You can hardly believe this kind of language would come out of the mouth of the president of a top-tier club.

I say that Milan should just stick to the 6.5M offer. Take it or leave it. Don't even bother to fly to Montpellier to negotiate. We can always wait until next summer and get Mbiwa on a free Bosman. If he is sold somewhere else or gets renewed, so be it. There are enough fish in the ocean.
Nicollin can talk all he wants, he is probably just mad at the inevitable fact that he only has two choices in the matter : Sell him for 6-8mln now, or let him go for free next season after he will probably play the season with no motivation what so ever, i can just imagine the feelings he'd have inside of his chance to go to a big european club ruined for an entire year because of the jack ass that runs their club. I don't care what anyone says, he is a moron this guy i'd understand wanting more money but what he said was just rude, let's ask him how many times his team has made it to CL? French league is so inferior to italy and spain. Montpellier winning is like Palermo winning the scudetto there's no reason why mbiwa shouldn't want to leave
LOL.. That was really impertinent of him but like somebody here said, Galliani might take insult as a compliment. Sometimes knowing the right time to sell is just as important as playing hard-ball in negotiation. Fiorentina could've gotten some money last year but they let Montolivo run out the last year of his contract and they received neither money nor good performance.

Ibrahimovic is an asshole as well. After the goal he's interviewed and asked "So how do you feel after your first game with this team do you think they can be as good as ac milan barcelona and all the other big clubs?"

Iba responds
"Well for sure they are better then milan, but barcelona we need some work still"
asshole..there goes us being the only team he hasn't said anything bad about..
He spoke the truth. Big Grin They have stronger squad and a coach with more class.
I am sure Galliani would not give a rats ass about the Montpeliier presidents comments. Galliani has heard even worse comments than his, so he wouldnt really care. As a matter of fact that fart Nicollin is so pissed because PSG is so unbelievably strong now and the fact that he cant do shit makes him say all this bull. Also Mbwia is running out of contract next season, which means he will get nothing if he does not accept our more than decent offer for 6.5 Million euros and that makes him feel all the more frustrated. So i think it is just perfectly normal to see all these comments coming from an extremely frustrated jack of an ass. And who in the world with normal senses would compare a deal like that of Thiago Silva with Mbiwa. How could he even have the wildest dream of expecting an offer of around 25 to 30 million euros for Mbiwa for the sale we made on TS?? After all this we will eventually get Mbiwa.
Guys, Geo has on more than one occasion said that Nicollin shows no respect to anybody and constantly makes controversial statements. His comments about Galliani are really nothing to get worked up about, we should just focus on dealing for the player.

Here are some of his other quotes...

About Ibramovich, he was an asshole before he came to Milan, he was an asshole when he was at Milan and I wouldn't expect any less from him now that he's left Milan.

(07-28-2012, 02:54 PM)Ceceves Wrote: [ -> ]Regarding his omission from the Euros squad I don't think there's anything worrying in the fact that Del Bosque chose Alba (who was in great form) and then Arbeloa (good-not-great player with much more experience than Didac) as a back-up, plus Didac hadn't been involved with the NT at all. As for the Olympics, the squad size is only 18, not 23, so it's necessary to chose some players with versatility.

Starting to realize I might come off as a Didac fan Blush As I said before I'm not. Maybe he just isn't good enough, but my point is maybe he will be. He's played regularly in La Liga and with the u-21s (arguably the best in Europe), plus the fact that Valencia want him says something.

If there is a buyout clause set at 4 or 5 million then, to me, we give Valencia all the advantage.

As you said, Gourcuff might have had a terrible season at Bordeaux - I agree there was no way of knowing. But If he had played like garbage then Bordeaux would simply not have exercised their option to buy and we would be stuck with a player with lowered value. And even though he had a weak mentality (as Maldini said and perhaps as proven by his career at Lyon) our club was the only one with that knowledge, as the media were full of rumours that Bordeaux would buy Gourcuff for €15m and sell for €25m.

Fair points about the omissions from the squads.

As for Didac, I never believed you were a fan of his and I agree he could become another Viera or Davids, but I'm going to guess there's a reason he's just not had chances at Milan. In this respect, I'm willing to trust our coach and management with their decision over him. Personally, I would have liked to have seen him given a chance too.

How does that make him an asshole? He said PSG is a better team than Milan because Milan lost their two best players. I see nothing wrong in having that opinion, he's probably not the only one. Apart from that he has not once mocked Milan after leaving, he's actually been praising the club and his time here.

If Ibra is an asshole it must be for completely different reasons...
