He's exactly the same Bakayoko we signed a few seasons ago. That Bakayoko was also dreadful for several months, before he had an upturn in form after the new year and actually had a good spring. But we are talking about 2-3 month period where he was decent-good. I won't forget the remaining 5 months where he was bad-terrible, with the first 2-3 months in particular where he looked like he can't even trap a 10 meter pass. His second touch was a freaking tackle for the most part during that period.
So yea, I have no idea why we decided to sign him again. He looked decent at Napoli, i'll give him that. But clearly not decent enough for them or for us to dish out cash. So loans + obligations/options it is. I can just hope that doesn't get trigered. Because 18M is a lot for us. Imagine we have to pay that for Bakayoko of all people.
Calhanoglu talking bollox again, Jesus that thing is a pure beta.Hope his woman doesn't get angry at him again.
Two new links to help solve the attack while Faivre is obviously known
Charles De Ketelaere (5 goals and 6 assists this season with Club Brugge), Brenden Aaronson (3 goals and 6 assists for Red Bull Salzburg) and Romain Faivre (7 goals and 5 assists in Ligue 1 with Brest).
Beto also impressed management on the weekend and we could look to him to help solve CF.

Maybe I've blocked his crap form out of my memory. To be fair. there's a lot I think I've suppressed like most of the last 10 years.
I know he was a stop gap option but the hope was that he'd be able to find some kind of form which hasn't happened. That being said, he's not really gotten consistent game time but we also can't afford to wait around for his form to come through.
Man baka is a hot mess. Maybe a good play here or there but even those look like accidents (think back the goal against Athletico). Tonali should help him down some, but otherwise that guy won't cut it. Not sure we can cut loans short but Pobega and Adli may be necessary as we are painfully thin in these positions. BTW, Adli with some good highlights in Bordeaux win today.
Pogeba needs to get back. Another goal for Torino and a fine display overall. Him and Tonali can do a good job when Benna and Kessie is at AFCON. Krunic the backup.
Milan have two major weaknesses and were wrong to bring Tiemoue Bakayoko back to the club in the summer, a journalist has claimed. Renowned Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti has given a stinging opinion in his column on the weekend’s pages of the Corriere della Sera.
“Bakayoko has unfortunately been a misunderstanding for some time. Selfless, physically splendid, but football is not his job at this level. It is no coincidence that he has changed teams every year for a long time with the sole merit of costing nothing. His gaps also confuse Ismael Bennacer, a very important player for the quality of his game,” he explained.
Sconcerti also pointed out Alexis Saelemaekers alongside Bakayoko, as the two real ‘shortcomings’ of this Milan side. “In addition to Bakayoko, Saelemaekers is also missing. In my opinion, the two of them are the real shortcomings of this Milan."
Newcastle are interested in Botman.
I don't care who just brought Newcastle, the fact is they're 2nd last with just 1 win. They'll need a minor miracle to not go down.
Kamara has told Marseille he will not renew.
Milan are preparing to recall Yacine Adli in January.
Maldini and Massara are about to be told the budget Elliott will give them for January.
If Elliott is serious and want us to compete for the Scudetto, we will get a good boost.

Minor miracle? Newcastle are only 3 points away from safety with 22 matches left, anything can happen. That said, I hope they're going down.
If we can have Adli in January I'm all for it.
Defenders linked: Christensen (likely to renew at Chelsea though), Botman, Milenkovic and Bremer. We've been offered Chelsea's Sarr and Lazio's Luiz Felipe, but apparently we're not interested in them.
