Fantastic performance all over. Really proud of the boys. Our pressing game is second to none when we are on point. Lazio looked like statues.

My rating 1-10:

- Maignan: 6. Nothing to do really.
- Calabria. 6. Decent performance.
- Romagnoli: 6,5. Brilliant assist and full control defensively.
- Kalulu: 6. Solid as always, a few lapses.
- Theo: 7. Commanding performance, great assist.
- Tonali: 6. Solid, but a clumsy yellow card, and a few bad crosses.
- Kessie: 6. Worked hard but nothing special.
- Messias: 6,5. Creating havoc in the first half, and is actually a really good press player.
- Diaz: 7. Magnificent. The driving force and worked his socks off.
- Leao: 7,5. One of the greatest talents in world football. Period. Great run at his goal, and a checky assist. Faded a bit away in the second half.
- Giroud: 7. Two simple goals, but ypu have to be there, and Oli is. Won a lot of battles too. Great performance.

- Bennacer: 7. Has hit top form at the right time. Dominant.
- Saelemaekers: 6. Did a few good things. Always good as an substitute, and substitue he can always be.
- Rebic: 5. Clearly not in shape.
- Tomori: NT
- Maldini: NT.

This gives another confidence boost before the weekend when we clash with the "fantastic" Giampaolo. Should be interesting.

Great win! Lazio had a good win in Serie A , so to trash them was too good.


I thought Kalulu was a standout with Leao. Diaz looks fit again and if Roma is leaving at least he is going out trying to lead.

Diaz had too many space this match. Many times there were 4, 5 opponents around him but none tacked him. Maybe that's the result of our pressing.

Anyway, good for building his confidence.

The youtube version at least has country restrictions. Not available in Canada for example.

So Atalanta loses to Fiorentina and sets up a match with Juve. Piatek finding a new home for his pistols in Serie A.

This really may be the end of Atalanta's cycle. They have sold so many players it is just difficult to keep replacing them with cheaper options. Juve on the other hand are in the ascendancy (still not sure why anyone would pay that much for Vlahovich but Juve are pretty shady business wise).

Atalanta still has a good team, but has been striked with a lot of Covid the last weeks and as we all know as Milan fans, it takes som time to recover, they also had a lot of injuries, especially Zapata is devastating for them.

They are still a good team and they will probably give Juve a good fight on sunday. A draw would be perfect.

Because no one cares to create it 

It could leave big psychological implications for the losing side.
