As attacking threats, yes but they are really bad at defending; horrible positioning, weak marking, you name any defensive flaws and the both of them possess them in abundance! Maybe they can improve that aspect at Milanello, but who knows?
Taiwo isn't of particular interest to me because I don't see a great player in him (I could be wrong). But Marcelo's improvements this year are noticeable, especially defensively. He's far from perfect, but at his age he's got every chance to reach the very top. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to take him if given the chance.
People have been talking about Taiwo for years now and yet none of the "bigger" clubs have come in to buy him. You have to wonder if there's a reason behind that. Like anyone, he might have improved as a player as the seasons have passed, but still no one has taken a chance on him. He's powerful, quick and has a strong shot - but that doesn't make him a good defender. I believe he'll be a free agent this summer, i wonder who will take a chance on him this time round?
The more i think about it, the more i like us being linked with Robben. If the price was right, i think we should go for him.
Robben said that if Bayern Munich are in Europe League next year it will mean "nothing" to him.. In other words, he'll want out...

they're still in 4th place in the Bundesliga though dude.....2 points behind Hannover.....can see them easily finishing in 3rd place....they'll still have 2 qualify for next year's Cl thru the play-off's...depends on the draw really.....do u think Robben will want to stay as Louis Van Gaal has confirmed he will be leaving in the summer....dunno.....don't think he'd fit into our current formation at the minute...a central AM seems more of a priority in the summer mercato....looks like Ganso's agent has agreed a meeting with the board in Milan....scheduled for next week.....
don't want to get too carried away here, considering there's still 3 months of the season left....but the signings i'd love to see this summer.....
Mario Fernandes or Rafael Toloi - a young CB.....or even better David Astori.....
Mexes (on a Bosman) - to replace Nesta (if he does decide to retire at the end of the season)
Maxwell or Taiwo (on a free) - as LB backup (as Janku is leaving in the summer)
Ganso
Yann M'Vila - really need to bring in a younger player for Rino...
Elano - a replacement for Seedorf
I must admit......would also love to see Paloschi back at the club......give Pippo one more season as well...that would keep me well happy as we also need to buy Genoa's half of Prince's ownership & start paying Barca the first installment of Ibra.....
Giuseppe Rossi is the one we need! Amazing player

Definitely looks like a good player who could be the heir to players like Gattuso and Ambrosini.
He reads the game very very well from that clip.
Braida says he's being 'closely monitored'... let's just hope they don't wait till he's 37 before they snap him up!
On Goal.com when you go to clubs and click milan, it shows a little box called transfer zone showing all our recent transfers etc, it shows Paloschi from Parma to Milan, did we actually get him back? I'm pretty sure hes still playing for parma.. But i'd like to have him back as a inzaghi replacement i guess.
