About Sokratis or Bonera, truthfully, I prefer Bonera, firstly because he can play at any position in the defense, and second, and actually most importantly, because Sokratis' attitude is killing his chances, the shy not speaking to anyone reports about him aren't good. He could be better than Bonera, but with that attittude, he won't be.
As of LBs, I'm perfectly happy with the possibility of getting Criscito, he's good, been only positive note of Genoa in last 2 seasons, he attacks and defends well. His problem is his super skinny, but it hasn't really been a super issue for his game, he has shown he can overcome that..
Montolivo or Aquilani? Aquilani is more technical and he hasn't really been injury prone this season, though his record from the past shows he's not reliable in that snese. But if he's not injured he can be a great player. His long range passes are pretty amazing. Montolivo is better in defense, not as technical as Aquilani, but he has grown so much in the past 2 years, being much more consistent, very hard worker, problem is he sometimes loses himself being a hard worker. He has a good vision. If we get either one of them + Ganso it could be pretty great (though thinking about it considering positions and Ganso comming, I guess it could work better to bring Montolivo than Aquilani)
calciomercato.com reporting, Braida had a deal for Sahin last summer but upper management never followed through....
Also reporting Jube could sell Cheillini if they get right offer to fund some big moves over summer. Cheillini would be a dream. Would be a natural successor to Nesta and in meantime Abate, Thiago, Nesta, Cheillini... STEEL
Chiellini is a dream. Getting him is almost as difficult as Ramos or Ronaldo, but he is more useful for us than both Madrid's players.
´What about the brasilian DM of Porto? Reges or something like that is his name. Is he good?

What does Papa's "not speaking to anyone" attitude with his performances on the pitch? He's just not outspoken, and prefers to remain silent. From what I see on Milan's training, he works very hard, just like everybody else. At the moment he's just a reserve and from the looks of it he accepts this situation gracefully.
Criscito is great defensively as I said before, nothing special going forward. There are better options who are as good as him defensively and way better in the attacking phase. We need another Abate on the left side.
Aquilani plays better higher up the pitch, in the Pirlo role he can't show his true potential. Good player, but not the Pirlo type. Poli meanwhile is stronger, and has good vision and creativity, and can only improve in the future. Also Sahin looks good for this position. Montolivo doesn't impress me, a bit overrated imo, he makes a lot of mistakes when passing and doesn't keep composure way too many times. We need a 2002-2007 Seedorf type of player; dynamic who dribbles his way forward and great passer. Modric is the perfect example, but unrealistic target. Boateng and Merkel can become that type of player.
Chiellini is a very unrealistic target, doubt that Juve would sell him to us and him accepting the contract. We wouldn't need him either with the arrival of Mexes and Astori. Plus Sokratis, Yepes and Bonera as reserves (doubt that Bonera will leave, though I would love it).

In my opinion one of our top priorities should be a good passing/playmaking CM. I hate the midfield we play without Pirlo, but as he's getting older we need to look at replacements. Obviously I'd love Hernanes or Modric, but neither are likely to leave.
Sahin hinted he'd like to go to italy and talks to boateng, but since they will be in ucl he won't go.
Everytime I've seen Badelj in Europa league, he's impressed me. Passer, big, strong tackler, good work rate.
he is neither big or strong... He easily gets outmuscled... he is a good passer and has great technique... plays CM or DM but he is often careless with the ball and isn't good defensively.
he just isn't Milan material. i would describe him as a (very) poor man's Pirlo.
It seems that none of the players with "Milan" word in their names is Milan material
Milan Baros, Milan Jovanovic and now Milan Badelj

actually Badelj is just the player we need. typical CM and a great prospect.

Yeah I don't get Tassotti's description. Badelj is 185cm. He's not weak from what I've seen at all. Is he Boateng? No way, but he's not a liability either..
I agree I have a small sample size of viewing (a couple europa league games) but yeah.
We need a competent organizer/passer to replace pirlo. Boateng won't ever be that player, he has different characteristics.
Obviously top names are Sahin. Hernanes, Modric. None of the three will transfer this summer. But maybe we can grab one next summer, when pirlo will be a year older?
In meantime we need something in CM-
-Badelj looks nice and is attainable at a reasonable cost. Problem is nonEU. Of course I'm bias cause of Boban (any croatian CM gets beenfit of doubt
)
-Montolivo, in my opinion is more the box to box CM, not the playmaker, though a midfield of him, boateng and a DM is a certain upgrade from the flamini, van bommel, gattuso midfields we use offensively.
- Joao Moutinho at Porto? I know they paid 10-11 mil for him last year, still he's been desperate for a bigger league move and does it all
-Aquilani? I love aquilani when he's on but his injuries scare me. I'd take him on a smallish fee though. Not worth a huge risk
-Denilson/Alou Diaby? These are my darkhourses. Arsenal will sell one. Both are excellent passers. Denilson in particular doesn't lose posession. Had an excellent 2009, but has struggles to reestablish him place. Diaby is also an excellent player. He's not really a CDM or the heir to Vieira so Arsenal fans are dissapointed. but his technical quality and ability to go forward are awesome
Lots of options
coentrao didn't sign for Bayern,he is still available on transfer market
