RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - am I Milan enough? - 06-01-2017 Chelsea inquires about Tolisso.. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - slifersd - 06-01-2017 Biglia is a little more expensive than we'd like him to be for sure, but I think he is one of those signings that can make management look like geniuses in a couple of years. A player with his skill set, which relies heavily on vision, reading of the game, and passing tend to age much better than someone who relies heavily on athleticism. I think Pirlo is probably a close comparison. The guy was still instrumental to Juve in his mid 30s despite never having good athleticism or size to begin with. For my money, unless he has some major injury problems, which is possible with all players, I can see this guy giving us three to four rock solid years playing the deep laying playmaker role. If that is what 20M can buy you, I personally think that's fair price. Also consider this, we are taking a featured player from a direct competitor. There is always a premium you have to pay to do that. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ZvonimirBoban - 06-01-2017 (06-01-2017, 09:15 AM)edysim Wrote: Chelsea inquires about Tolisso.. Fcuk Conte. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - takeshisteve22 - 06-01-2017 'Spanish press this morning are reporting Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban has been upheld, meaning they will not be able to sign players until 2018'... http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-milan/sportitalia-morata-minaccia-united-ma-il-milan-resta-in-pole-256134 Does that mean Man. Utd will de-focus their interest in Greizmann now and have another look at Morata??..have we now got competition for his signature??..i hope not...Alvaro's Italian GF wanting to return home to Italy may have more than an influence over proceedings in this...Surely if Antoine wants to leave Athleti. & Diego Simeone, he still has a release clause in his contract, so if he wants to go, they can't do much if he really wants to leave and United pay the 80 something million in transfer fees...or does this embargo mean they can't sell or buy players for the forseeable future..or maybe they can, if it's just a registration ban instead and not a transfer ban, if Lacazette still wants to move, they can still buy him, but can't register him until January...Barca done the same a few years ago with Turan & Alexi Vidal under their ban and spent the time training with the squad until it wass lifted..maybe they will be forced to batten down the hatches and make do with their players on their roster until then...mmmm...????..must look into this tbh...and La Stampa have said today too, that Fassone and the management at Milan have raised their offer to Torino from 60 to 80 million for Belotti..is this mere BS speculation and major league gossip too or do they know something we don't...????..apparently they are interested in Gabriel & Poli which is more than fine by me as a swap and nothing would satisfy more than beating Merda to his signature tbh, as they seem the only other team on the peninsula to be showing a lot more interest for him, apart from the English sides like Arsenal & Chelski obviously...having both Morata and Belotti would be more than a dream...one of the best striker duos in Europe right there, if it does happen.. http://www.lastampa.it/2017/06/01/sport/calcio/qui-toro/belotti-ecco-il-piano-milan-milioni-pi-un-giocatore-uEkOHeBfLCsNBUErJfq3vN/premium.html http://www.milannews.it/rassegna-stampa/la-stampa-milan-super-offerta-per-belotti-80-milioni-piu-uno-tra-lapadula-niang-e-bertolacci-256154 Belotti, ecco il piano Milan: 80 milioni più un giocatore 'Il bomber sempre più conteso: oltre ai soldi offerto uno tra Niang, Bertolacci e Lapadula. Cairo però ne vuole 100 cash. E i rossoneri vanno in missione per l’ex juventino Morata..' so are we preparing a new huge offer for Andrea Belotti...80 millioni euro + one of Lapadula, Niang or Bertolacci or is it just more paper talk or what????...tbh, i've always preferred him over Morata..he's always reminded me somewhat of Sheva in his style and ability, well for his first break-out season, deffo..seeing him wearing red and black next season would sure make my mercato and year if it's true..and also a big f*** you to our cousins across the city at the same time..a few times over the years they've beat us to certain strikers in the summer mercato..Zlatan in 2006 after the Calciopoli scandal, David Suazo a year or two later...it's bout that time we returned the favour and compliment..i like the last bit, where it mentions that we are still in the running for ex-Jube star Morata too..i can dream, can't I.. In other news this morning..both from more reliable sources...from a quick google translate.. http://www.alfredopedulla.com/esclusiva-conti-vuole-milan-contatti-no-stop-gia-la-prossima-settimana/ "Alfredo Pedulla, through its website, has posted this update on the future of Andrea Conti, who seems to be getting closer to Milan: "Andrea Conti wants to AC Milan. He also sounded out Inter, but he reiterated his willingness to wear the Rossoneri. There have also been contacts in the last hours with his agent Mario Giuffredi, next week should be the right one to get into the negotiations. And maybe to define it. Yes, because AC Milan is in a hurry to deliver to Montella an organic competitive within a month (Ricardo Rodriguez, Biglia, Borini waiting assault in Morata, perhaps with a chance to take another midfielder and waiting for decisions on Keita). and Conti perhaps even more hurry to go to Milan, destination in the forefront of his thoughts. Atalanta rightly says it wants to retain Conti, the currency 25 million, but at the same time knows that when she knocks a big club becomes complicated resis tere. Conti wants to AC Milan, the Rossoneri reciprocated. Matter of time. Instead of days, not many. " Bild (from Germany) : Ricardo Rodriguez is close to joining Milan for 20 million, with Luis Gustavo joining Inter for 15 million... oh and thanks for the warm welcome Nefremo mate..forgot my old account details and had to open a new one all over again..ffs.. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 06-01-2017 A few thoughts... I think Conti will come, it seems we're some distance ahead in the race to get him. Keep an eye on Papu in this situation, as he seems set to leave and I suspect we want him. I'm not too worried about Morata and United. I think you're more likely to see them pay the buy out clause for him, which Atletico can do little about. On that note, I think we're monitoring Belotti, but I don't think rumours are true about the bids mentioned. Kessie hopefully gets announced today. Tolisso I don't think will happen as he's said he wants to play in CL. Latest on Biglia is we're hoping to close at 15m. I'd be satisfied with that. The dream for me is next week along with Rodriguez and Morata, we work out something for Kovacic. It's a long shot, but I can hope can't I? RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - MAEV - 06-01-2017 Apart from the names that we are linked to and I would really love us to sign (Conti, Kessie, Morata, Keita Balde, Tolisso, Ricardo Rodriguez would be amazing additions to the squad) I would like to see us going after Ajax's Hakim Ziyech, Tottenham's Moussa Sissoko (not a starter this year) and PSG young striker Jean-Kevin Augustin, whose contract runs out next summer so his price will not be very high; huge potential and he could be an amazing back up for Morata. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - takeshisteve22 - 06-01-2017 apparently Kessie has already finished the last part of his medical an hour ago and will be at Casa Milan this afternoon for the official signing and announcement to the press..then we can make our moves for Conti & Biglia..not hearing encouraging reports about Tolisso though coming outta France..win some lose some, i guess..it's less to do with Conte's interest and more with the player wanting to play in the Champions League..he'd be an amazing acquistion all the same..i guess all we can do is see what materialises over the next few weeks, but we have other options there, unlike our other priorities in the market tbh... Tolisso: ‘Ready to leave Lyon’ Juventus, Inter and Napoli target Corentin Tolisso is “ready” to leave Lyon but “I want to play in the Champions League”. The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Serie A this summer, with all three clubs thought to be interested, but the Nerazzurri may miss out as they aren’t in Europe. “For my progression, I want to play in the Champions League again,” Tolisso told Les Progres. “It’s important to play in the biggest European matches, to be ready to play in the World Cup. “Rejecting Napoli last summer? It was a bit complicated but I was young and I still wanted to play with OL in the new stadium. “We were in the Champions League and I felt we had a great team. Now I’m ready [to leave]. “If there are offers I’ll study them with my advisors and my parents and I’ll go to tell the President [Jean-Michel Aulas] that I want to leave. “I’ve heard what he said, he said there was no offer. When there is we’ll talk about it. “It would be better if the situation is clarified quickly, but I’m focused on the French national team until June 13.” This morning’s L’Équipe reports that Chelsea are also interested, and could involve Bertrand Traore or Kurt Zouma in the deal. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - sylrus - 06-01-2017 what about douglas costa?? i know he is a dirty striker, but i think we need someone like him. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - am I Milan enough? - 06-01-2017 (06-01-2017, 12:44 PM)sylrus Wrote: what about douglas costa?? You meant Diego Costa? if he leaves, he wants Atletico I read somewhere. Not sure If I want him though. While Douglas Costa is heavily linked w Jube (recently good relation w Munich) RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 06-01-2017 You know I'm all for Douglas Costa. Not sure what you mean about "dirty" striker, but he brings the much needed pace, overall ability on the ball, great 1v1 play, and maybe not too many goals but certainly some very dangerous balls in the box will come from his left foot plus a ton of open spaces for others to take advantage of. What I really like is that he can play anywhere in the attacking line, but I think he can be devastating as a SS if given the opportunity. I would choose him over Keita any day, which is why I don't underatand why we are so hung up on Keita, especially if he is supposedly waiting for Juventus and Lazio is trying to rip us a new one with their crazy demands. EDIT: if you were actually talking about Diego Costa, than I think it's safe to say we have absolutely zero chance of gettong him. He will not come here and his demands will be off the charts if he even considered it. |
