RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 06-02-2017 This is exactly what Raiola wants. He wants to damage the relationship between Donnarumma and the fans. At that point, it will be SOOO much easier to take him away from Milan. It already is as a matter of fact. My concern is in how easy Donnarumma has let this happen. Dev, don't think even for a second that the comment Donnarumma made yesterday was not "coached" from Raiola. Amongst all the drama, I am 10000% percent sure Raiola has told Gigio exactly what to say if reporters ask him about the renewal. That seems like a complete Raiola comment....a one liner that only prolongs the controversy. I really don't want this to become a yearly fiasco like it is every summer with Ibrahimovic or like it was every year with Pogba until he moved on. This is what Raiola does with the clients that let him do it and the ones that are all about the money and fame. The others like Hamsik.....never. I bet my life that's because Hamsik has told Raiola not to start shit like this. It's a shame that Gigio and his family didn't tell Raiola the same, and instead they've let him take Milan and the fans for a ride. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - winstonwolfe - 06-02-2017 Donnarumma is making huge mistake by thinking that he is irreplaceable and bigger than Milan. The only one who will gain benefit is his agent who is playing this game perfectly. He does not care abouy his client nor Milan. He only cares about his own interest. Even if Donnarumma stays, the damage has been done. I think that his days at Milan are numbered and he is going to leave soon. This all went to a point where return is not possible. And it is wrong to blame Raiola for this. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 06-02-2017 Agree. Welcome to the forum by the way! Sky saying that Keita only wants Juventus and he has agreed a deal with them. This summer or next, he will go to them according to this. No problem. Just go and get Douglas Costa and we are better off anyway. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 06-03-2017 Quote:It would not only mean a release clause for a sum over 100m, but also the pledge to sell if Milan failed to qualify for the Champions League. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - devoted_dm - 06-03-2017 Well that basically proves that Donnarumma is being led astray by an agent who doesn't give a shit about what's best for the player. Obviously sooner or later Milan will return to the top in Italy and Europe. With our fan base and resources it's inevitable. Probably we'll be back to winning again in a few years. Donnarumma has the chance to be part of that journey and make himself a club legend, but he's also an 18 year old boy who probably doesn't understand long-term perspectives yet (I know I didn't at that age). Surrounding himself with greedy people like Raiola is a recipe for disaster for anyone who's wealthy, famous and very young. His relationship with he fans is damaged right not, but a few saves in the derby and in important matches and fans will begin to forget this. However, he has definitely ruled him out of a contention for captaincy. Just when I thought I couldn't dislike Raiola more... RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - sylrus - 06-03-2017 if milan let raiola do this to milan this way regarding the donna case, i think other players will start demanding like him. so its better to just sell him at this point. he did say we'll see, so we'll see who will pay the highest for him. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 06-03-2017 tbh nothing new in the latest reports as it was already reported the biggest sticking point was the clauses Raiola wants. I also think this story's been leaked, as it seems someone quoting Donnarumma as saying "I want to stay" is to try and calm the storm that's come out of all this. I'm generally in agreement with everyone who says Raiola engineering all this to eventually secure a sale elsewhere, but I'm mostly just annoyed at Donnarumma and those close to him (i.e. his family), for not taking steps to deal with the matter correctly and instead let a snake have his way. Not much else new at the moment, both Conti and Rodriguez are potentially set to be announced next week, with progress made on the Morata deal. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - sylrus - 06-03-2017 So we will have a new backline. Can we also have a new midfield and forwards pls. Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - honsano - 06-03-2017 A team built from the back is truly built for success. If Rodriguez and Conti join this transfer campaign may be one of our best including the Berlu era. |
