RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 06-14-2017

hmm, I hope we're careful about giving youth players away. Felicioli looks to have a decent future ahead of him, I'm keen on us keeping him. Pessina I'm more hesitant on, but haven't seen as much of him. At the least, I hope we can include a buy-back clause or something like the Petagna deal get a percentage on resale.

We're also rumoured to be talking about Belotti today as our management meet Torino's sporting director. They're interested in Zapata, Lapadula and Niang I believe. I don't believe the Belotti deal is over by a long shot, although I can't say I totally know how he'd slot in alongside Andre Silva (not to say it's impossible). Big Grin

Just a question, I know a lot of you consider Douglas Costa a dream signing, but can you explain why? Not to say I don't rate him or consider him a useful player if he were to come (he would improve us for sure), but he's not someone I particularly see as a dream signing if I'm honest.

I have a feeling once Conti is signed from Atalanta we may be announcing De Sciglio's departure shortly after. There hasn't been much news of him, I wonder what's going on? Is he going to Juventus or?

If, just like rumoured, we will switch often between 4-3-3 and 3-5-2, then it's obvious that we will pair them.

The less obvious one is to see Andre Silva deal as a way to put pressure on Cairo and Torino to reconsider their ridiculous demand for Belotti (100M wtf). Remember the very swift nature of Andre Silva deal when everyone's attention is on Belotti. If it goes through, then we can rotate them as main striker on 4-3-3 formation. This will mean selling Bacca and Lapadula (we've seen Lapadula offered to various clubs as bargaining chip, including to Torino on Belotti deal). If we can get Belotti for, say 40-50M (which is his true value disregarding all hypes created by Torino IMO), and selling Bacca and Lapadula combined for 25-30M (remember that we already put 20M price tag on Lapadula), then for 78-88M (or 48-63M net) we will get massive upgrade in attacking department. It will help shield Andre Silva from unnecessary pressure too.

As much as we hate De Sciglio and his attitude during last season, his potential is undeniable. He can play on both sides (albeit not equally good), I think we have to keep him for depth. Let one of Antonelli/Vangioni leave (or both).

Given that we already agree on his quality as a football player and his ability to improve our team with his direct play, I won't bother go into a long discussion about that. I think part of the reason why nefremo and I have been mentioning him so much is that while we are talking about him as a "dream" signing, it's a dream that is IMO within touching distance. He barely played last year under Carlo and is probably very willing to move away. Bayern seem to be willing to sell and the price appears to be reasonable (by today's standards). For me, when you combine the quality of player with his apparent availability and going price, that is why I consider him a realistic dream signing (paradox, I know Big Grin). I could talk about Verratti for example as a dream signing but that's more unrealistic than anything..

Since he was mentioned a few times .... Tolisso ---> Bayern 40m

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Rimini - 06-14-2017

Most of Bayern fans says that he wanted a pay rise and rejected. He gave up after it. Mentally weak player. on the other hand, l controlled his stats, it looks like carlo rotated ribery and him for LW. Bayern wants to sell him just because they want to sign Sanchez.

l'd go for him since, 30-40 m euros is good price for him. Serie A's tempo is lower than Bundesliga, maybe this is why juve is after him.

sup bruv, hope all's well Smile

I don't think Costa is as realistic as you'd like. His price is probably 35-45m and Juve are very close to closing that deal. Allegri just confirmed that they will play 4231 and the squad is complete apart from up front where they need more wingers.

They currently have on the wings: Mandzukic, Cuadrado, Pjaca. Already signed Orsolini. Heavily linked with Costa and Keita.

I can't see them signing both Costa & Keita for 40+20m. I always felt they were going to get Verratti though. Juventus have already spent 100m this mercato btw.

Which means they're probably going for a  Vidal - Alcantara- Tolisso midfield meaning there's not enough room for Renato Sanches, Kimmich to grow. Don't forget they also signed Sebastian Rudy whom Mirabelli was scouting for some months.

One of those two promising midfielders will leave. Jorge Mendes our new bff is an agent of one of those two.  Devilcool

Bayern also just signed Gnabry. Current wingers: Costa, RIbery, Robben, Coman, Gnabry. I can see them selling Costa but are they going to sign Alexis Sanchez too? I personally think Chelsea/City are going to offer up to 60m to sign Sanchez who has 1 year left on his contract. For the EPL clubs, signing him off of Arsenal would be great business as he single handedly carried that team last year. Alexis Sanchez for me would be a dream signing but I doubt we stand a chance.

they keep signing players while ignoring their main need, which is a world class LW, who can change a game anytime.

They also signed Gnabry and Goretzka(for next year as free agent) They want to sign Brandt too.(next year, 12.5 m euros clause) l think they will go to Dembele to replace Robben in 2018 as well.

most of their signings are not needed and won't add much.

Regarding James, l'd not take 70-80 m euros James gamble. we are not that rich or complete.

Kimmich is their new RB and it's said that they will rotate Sanches and Tolisso for one spot. l read all news on twitter, their original source was Bild, who close to Bayern, l assume.

Verratti is impossible to get, even for Barca or Bayern, let alone Juventus.

Did l miss something?

we still need a RB, a CB, a LW.

Forsberg, Conti, Sokratis fits the bill for me. l wish we could also sign D.Costa for RW.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Aficio - 06-14-2017

It seems we are considering Costa.

If we loan him for only 1st half of season, I think we could reach an agreement to pay a small part of his wage. We are "helping" him and Chelsea and Aletico, right Big Grin

For 2nd half of season, lets sign Ibra when he is fully fit Big Grin
