RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - reza - 06-14-2017 (06-14-2017, 06:41 PM)ZvonimirBoban Wrote: If that's the price for Belotti then I say forget about him. He's definitely not worth that much. Period. Two summers from now he will cheaper, not saying he will be a flop but this price is Griezmann level. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 06-14-2017 We're better off with our current plan of Silva & Kalinic RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Hitman - 06-14-2017 (06-10-2017, 01:26 AM)reza Wrote: By the way the agreement supposedly includes/included 400 million investment in 4 years (06-14-2017, 06:39 PM)reza Wrote: Insane prices, and we are definitely in FFP trouble not long down the line if we pay 70-80+ for one position. Installment and all these are ok and makes it better for UEFA too but the Chinese plan is not exactly convincing. I am talking about FFP only. Money wise in general the Chinese better not spend what they don't have as that would be far more dangerous than some UEFA sanctions. No reza we won't be in any trouble for what we will do this summer. Our agreement with UEFA has been postponed to September meaning it will only apply for 2018/2019 season when we probably return to the CL if we meet our targets. The voluntary agreement would be a 4 year investment plan starting from the following season when the agreement has been accepted. At the moment it's been postponed. Even if you intend to worry, it's not the time to do so. Next year we will also probably have Milan China up and running which is expected to be completed by September. That should add to our revenue along with CL participation and perhaps a hike in jersey sales and match attendance. We're good dude ![]() RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - reza - 06-14-2017 Revenue wise they have a lot to do but yes it will work out in the end RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Ryo - 06-14-2017 We are Milan, we'll make it work. For good or bad, we'll make it work. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - devoted_dm - 06-14-2017 There are rumours of an agreement between Fassone and Raiola for Donnarumma's renewal, with the new contract to be signed tomorrow. I have to say I'll find it really difficult to support Donnarumma after this, and I'd rather see him sold. I think Raiola has played a major part in all of this, but the final responsibility does rest with the player, as a lot of you have said. I think there's going to be a major backlash from the fans when the next season starts, which is something I don't think Donnarumma has even thought about (not so sure about Raiola though). The relationship between him and the fans is broken, and I don't really see how he can fix it. Signing a five year contract without any release clauses would be a good start, but even then... I predict he'll be sold next summer regardless of whether we qualify for the CL or not, and it'll probably be the best solution for both Milan and the player at that point. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 06-14-2017 It's a good clause if it's 100m+. We're obligated to sell but his buyout would be incredibly high RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Ryo - 06-14-2017 Question, would the clause specify if we cannot qualify for next year's CL? Or would it be for every single year of his contract so long as we cannot qualify for the CL? RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 06-14-2017 Thanks Mystik and nefremo for answering my question. Honestly, I wouldn't have any issue with Douglas Costa, but frankly speaking I also think for him to really excite, imo he does need to just add that little more end product to his game. I think it's telling that during his best season at Bayern (bearing in mind they were totally dominant in Bundesliga), his goals and assists were at 4 and 9 respectively. He's not lacking ability, pace or quality, but I think he's capable of more. I also have a couple of doubts about him in Italy, where it can be difficult to be isolated 1v1 against a defender. However, on the flip side, he could easily be valued for the same qualities that Cuadrado and Salah are, which as as you both mention his pace and direct running at defenders is a unique quality that can be highly effective in Serie A.
