RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Ryo - 06-15-2017

Milan is a business and will make decisions based on what's actually best for the club. Treating a dumb 18 year old like that will make us look really bad and could scare other players away. Also we'll lose money by not selling him now. Raiola won this one, unfortunately.

You do know that the only money we lose will be the cost of developing him in our own academy and his wages for one year (which is pretty low since he didn't sign the new one). Whatever he's said to be worth means nothing to us in terms of cost/profits.

We've already offered him a 10000% increase on his salary, making him potentially even higher paid than Buffon, a proven living legend. There's no way that anyone would think bad of us for what we've done or offered so far.

Let him rot in the stands for a year and let him leave on a free. He'll just have not played a single minute for the entire season and miss out on Euro 2018, but it's his own fault.

Proven player, still at the prime age but We knew what happen to his career afterwards...

I think the similar outcome will happen to Donna  ..

Well, at least one of them stayed long enough to achieve something with the club, give something back and become a club legend. The other one forced his way out withouth even wanting to make history. That badge-kissing makes me sick.

He might not sit every game, but I'm pretty sure he won't be our first choice this season.

Boy this gets me back when Sheva and Kaka were leaving. I was so sad and pissed off, I couldnt talk to anyone IRL without getting into argument over meaningless things. Good thing I learned not to let football affect my personal life now. I'm not that angry, I'm just stunned at how stupid someone can be. They say goalkeepers and taxi drivers are the dumbest people in the world. I guess the old saying is proved correct once again Big Grin

I hope ultras boo him everytime they see him on the bench

Sheva was allowed to leave because Berlusconi is his kid's godfather or something, whereas Kaka was sold to balance books (for the good of our club). In both situations Berlusconi had the final say in things and decided to send both off. In both cases the players actually achieved a lot with our club and them leaving hurt because of the rapport that they built with the fans and the effort that they showed us year in and year out before they left.

In this case, it's just some dumb kid who got a lucky break and got to play constantly in front of a croaked defense for a year and a half. If he really thinks that he'll be allowed to walk into the first 11 of any team besides Juve's in one year (when Buffon retires), he is sorely mistaken. Everything he's been doing just has "idiotic" written all over it. Can't really get angry at idiots. I can only feel sorry for them.

I don't see how he can ever even be near a pitch where Milan play a match again.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Jay Crisp - 06-15-2017

Wherever he goes he won't have what he had at Milan and that's 100% backing support from fans and the club.Go to Real and he'll be eaten alive after 1 mistake and he does make them.He has not consistently played against top opposition and was shielded somewhat by it.He is amazing for his age but has a lot of growing to top clubs used to success won't be as forgiving.

But at the end of the day he doesn't want to be here.So good riddance.

I dissagree on the first point. Sheva asked to leave because his wife wanted to live in London (pussy), Kaka left because his dream has always been to play for Real. Both of them actually wanted to go, their situation wasnt like Zlatan's who actually wanted to stay. That is why both of them lost my respect and Ibra still has it, even though his stay in Milan was much shorter.

On the other point you're right, those two did achieve a lot before wanting to go, while all Dollaruma did was last a season and a half as a 1st gk at a very young age.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Ryo - 06-15-2017

With Sheva, I don't disagree, because I too remember his wife being the cause of things. But in the end it was his own decision to leave the team and the club.

Kaka's case though:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/european/5483204/Kaka-joined-Real-Madrid-to-aid-AC-Milans-financial-crisis.html

He didn't leave mid-season when bigger deals came calling, but he still left because Berlu ran out of money and we had to balance the books. The fact that he chose Madrid instead of other clubs is one thing, but I doubt that if given the choice to stay, he wouldn't have left.
