THIS!

I HOPE, really honestly HOPE, that your opinion is the correct one in this situation. That would mean that Raiola is the real culprit in this situation. We all win that way. Gigio's contract gets extended, we have our #1 GK back and don't have to worry about selling him/benching him/replacing him. It's in our best interested that Gigio proves to everyone that it was Raiola who made the mess and he actually loves Milan and will sign the extension.

THIS!

Still though, until further developments, from what we know so far....Gigio is just as much to blame. If things change in the next day or so, we'll see....

and THIS!

We are after all, fans of the same club. We should all be on the same team. There will always be differences of opinions but a little respect goes a long way into turning an argument into constructive discussion

Genoa want Berto back, Perin getting closer.

We, instead of include young players, propose to Atalanta for money + likes of Paletta/ Kuca/ Lapadulla. Nice move.

Perfect. They can take Berto for Perin and money + paletta/kuca/lapadulla for Conti and Papu would be awesome!

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Ryo - 06-20-2017

To be perfectly honest. I still believe that Dollarumma wanted this. There's no way that he wouldn't have come out and not corrected his agent's actions if he realized they were damaging to his own future. The fact that that Mino snake has been allowed to go on and on with his antics speaks volumes about what Gigi and his family expect the outcome to be, and that is basically to get a move to his OTHER dream team (Madrid).

Even if he were to relent and sign the contract now, with no strings attached or even with clauses inserted in, the damage has already been done and it speaks volumes about his character. Even if he comes back, unless he puts in spectacular performances like De Gea did when he decided to re-sign with United, forgiveness will not be provided all that easily. What we're doing right now is showing a strong front. Management are saying the right things, and the fans are responding in kind. But in the end the feeling of betrayal will not subside unless Dolla actually shows his commitment to the cause (by firing that fat fuker, signing the contract, offering a formal apology for everything that's happened AND performing to the best of his ability in the season to come). Other than that, I don't see the fans ever forgiving him for what he pulled. At least not enough to consider him anything more than just a decent player, instead of "the future head of this club" material. The shitstorm that he pulled is just way too big for that sort of redemption now.

You can all say that "he's just 18, he's still a kid" but the lad has a whole family and entourage of adults around him who should know how to speak and act, guiding him on what to do. He has every chance in the world to come out and contradict his agent in social media or even in interviews, and he did crap all of that.
Why did he not? Simple, because there's an outcome he wants (to move to Madrid, or the highest bidder) that his agent promised would handle. If he did want to re-sign with us, this discussion wouldn't even be happening and he'a already be under contract with us for the next 5 years.

Jack and Abate never had this sort of issue, firstly because they want to stay, but also because they are less commercially valuable on the market. Therefore the fat tub of lard simply accedes to their wishes instead of making crazy demands for stupid clauses, or to renegotiate contracts. This situation with Dolla is mostly due to Raiola's greed, but all signs also point to Dolla and his family wanting this to happen. Otherwise why say nothing against the agent, and even defending his actions, when he turned down the contract? It simply doesn't make sense if the boy and his family themselves didn't want this.

And the most important thing is that we didn't turn our backs on our prodigal son, he turned his back on us. I only want Donnaruma to extend his contract so that we can sell him for 100 million euros this season or next, I don't care, he'll never be a bandiera for this club.

Quote:According to @diarioas, Jorge Mendes has proposed James Rodriguez to Milan. A Donnarumma-Rodriguez swap remains a possibility.

Yes please

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 06-20-2017

Yea, I would definitely take that exchange... I am thinking we would have to pay some money though. Still, I would do it at this point Big Grin

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 06-20-2017

A midfielder of his caliber would be great

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Mystik - 06-20-2017

The problem with this situation is that we, the fans, don't know the full truth. The reality is likely somewhere in the middle of what F+M are saying and what Raiola has been saying.

We likely offered decent wages and probably wanted a large release clause in order to protect our investment. Raiola obviously wanted the best contract possible for his client (and he's known to be greedy) so he likely wanted even more wages and a small release clause (not going into his personal terms as well). This really did not need to escalate this far as with time I'm sure they could have met in the middle. At this point, the relationship between Donnarumma and the fans is probably so strained that it might not even make sense for him to stay - certainly not in the long term. He (Donnarumma) maybe could/should have come out with a statement early and this mess could have been avoided. I don't understand why this contract renewal was left until now anyway and not done a bit earlier..

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Sampinjon - 06-20-2017

Offer was more than corect. If little garbage really wanted to stay he would accept it no matter what big garbage "wants for his client". He "wants" to stay but only under conditions .....listed from 1 to 100... Seriously? He can go and stick himself something into something else.
