Maybe not....but they can kiss their chances of getting MDS goodbye.....unless they give us 15mil.

A few reports today so far:

- Biglia looks closer, a 15m fee + bonuses
- Additional funds could be incoming from Yonghong Li to get Aubameyang. 55m + 7m bonuses is rumoured to be the offer we'll make to BVB
- GDS suggests not to rule out Kalinic even if Auba joins
- GDS says if Niang goes, it will be a sale, not a loan

Second off, Dembele is worth around 100 m euros. it's a fair price, considering both Bayern and Barca are crazy for him. Same goes for him. Dortmund doesn't want to sell him this summer since they will offload Auba. After all, l'm asking myself why we need him. we signed Silva, an interesting player, who can develop into a great striker. On the other hand, we lack players like Berna and D.Costa who are going to Juve. so l think we better go for one of them instead Cuadrado or Auba.

After all, We did amazing job so far. The only signings who didn't convince me fully are Calhanoglu  and Musacchio. l don't know why we didn't go for better players when we had the chance.

RB Leipzig with a 'serious project'? LOL, don't see that happening I'm sure Forsberg would run to us if it was up to him - the club may not need money but they cannot retain players if they want to go to a top club for very long.

I feel the same way.

Here is my list of new signings in order of who I believe will be most likely to succeed at Milan:

1- Kessie
2- Biglia (i think we'll get him)
3- RR
4- Conti
5- Silva
6- Hakan
7- Musacchio
8- Borini

You're right, Hakan and Musacchio (+ Silva) were big bets.. but for us to return to greatness we can't afford to keep buying the best players in the best positions for 50-70m each. We have to attempt to make bargains. Calhanoglu for 20m is a risk that can pay off - at worst he'd be sold off for 15m and potentially, he can reach 40-50m if bags in a few more free kicks and does well. I haven't seen him play nor Silva that's why I'm not sure how likely they are to succeed here. Musacchio is someone who was appreciated by the old management, old Chinese group (Gancikoff) Montella(+staff) and the new management. For me, I've seen him play a few times and appreciate his leadership but I don't know if he's the ideal CB we need with the right concentration.

Bargains such as these allows us to save part of our budget for a big name player in a position or two (perhaps Aubameyang).

About Biglia it is reported that

Quote:Milan offered Montolivo, but Lazio are not interested.

This summer is crazy, we are offering the captain Devilol

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 07-08-2017

Captain for captain

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 07-08-2017

Haaaahaha what a smack in the face to "the captain". Big Grin Too bad Lazio doesn't want him. To be honest though, I think it's because they want dry cash for Biglia and not another player.

Good thing is, Montolivo will probably ask to be sold if Biglia comes. Question is who wouod buy him at his wages?! I see someone like Galatasaray coming in. Small clubs in Italy can't afford him and big ones don't want him.

No players in this world 'worth' 100M except maybe CR7 and Messi. Not Dembele, not Auba, not Belotti and not even Dollarumma.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 07-08-2017

I agree with those who have doubts on Musacchio, but it seems the club are prepared to gamble on him, so I'll trust they know what they're doing.

Currently I'd say our mercato is a 7/10. It will be 8 if we can sell the dead weight, 9 if we get Aubameyang and Biglia and 10 if we're able to get someone who will challenge Musacchio's spot and a reliable alternative to Kessie.

I think a top forward is needed, as Andre Silva's very young and coming to a new league soon after breaking through. The pressure would be immense if he's expected to be the star forward. Same with Kessie, he's a guy I've been commenting on since he was at Cesena, but ideally we should have a solid alternative to help him play without too much responsibility.

As for Montolivo leaving, it will be interesting to see how his situation evolves this summer
