RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Ryo - 07-13-2017 That would be the funniest training ground bust up ever if that were to happen. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 07-13-2017 Biglia looks set to join in the next couple of days. The press is saying we're talking about a very small difference between Milan and Lazio. Rumours are even with Bonucci, Aubameyang is far from off the table. In fact, as this week passes there's a greater chance of getting him. The Chinese market closes tomorrow, so after then he would be ruled out of going to China. Also the Chinese club interested in him signed Anthony Modeste for 35m (I think GBP), so it's become very very unlikely Aubameyang's still a target. That leaves Milan and Chelsea, but right now it seems Chelsea haven't actually really acted to do anything to get him. On Bonucci, a bit of arrogance is necessary at the top level of the game. Players must have a lot of self belief to be at the very top and it's actually beneficial for top teams to have these characters in their team. Just look at the great Milan sides, Van Basten and Gullit were hardly modest, I read/heard Savicevic basically stole Gullit's seat and locker in the dressing room when he joined and everyone who has listened to Boban in recent years knows he's not exactly shy of speaking his mind. Ancelotti's Milan was full of big egos in every area of the pitch, probably the one who represents it best was Seedorf. Arrogance/confidence is a necessary personality trait when at the top level, whether people like it or not. The key thing is to ensure there are leaders in the dressing who have the respect of their peers. In Sacchi's and Capello's Milan sides that was Baresi and then it became Maldini and Costacurta. Even after them we still had the likes of Ambrosini, Seedorf and Rino who did what they could in difficult times. We know we've lacked leaders in our dressing room in recent years especially and guys like Bonucci and Biglia could go a long way to fill that void. Anyway, on getting him, as I said yesterday, he'd be a top choice if possible. I've liked him since his Bari days, where he always impressed me (even more than Rannocchia who I never totally got the hype around). I know nefremo was also a very big fan of his since the Bari days. So far, as far as I know the rumours stand at: - Bonucci's agent, Lucci, approached our management about him joining (with Bonucci keen), not the other way around - Bonucci's situation at Juve has become very difficult. He has had a total breakdown in the relationship with Allegri and his relationship with some of the players has become a little tense as a result - His agent has outright said they're working on leaving and there will be developments soon - He and his family want to stay in Italy. This might be related to the health problems his son has faced in recent times, which became very serious and saw Bonucci breakdown into tears during a press conference - The rumoured price is 40-45m according to Sky - DES is very realistically involved in going the other way - Romagnoli looks unlikely to be included. Sports Mediaset who started the story yesterday had said Romagnoli would be part of the deal, following which some of the press have said it may be a possibility, but generally reliable sources, like SportItalia and I think Di Marzio have said Romagnoli will not be part of the deal - Juve have stated before they will not stand in the way of any player that wants to leave (07-13-2017, 07:12 AM)Siregar Wrote: If Bonucci comes, can Romagnoli play left fullback? Like 4 backs formation but 3 CBs when attacking. To an extent he can, he did it last season on occasion. However, we've got RR, so I see no reason to do this. I think if Bonucci comes, we're either going to see Musacchio as first choice backup or we're moving to a back 3. I think we'll stick to a back 4 for the most part. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - GeoTav - 07-13-2017 If we get Bonucci, we could send Juventus into a kind of crisis ... Dani Alves bashed Juventus yesterday when he signed for PSG (which is a very unfair way to act from this guy to be honest). He was a starter. If Bonucci comes, then they'll lose 2 starters. Guys like Cuadrado (second choice after Douglas Costa now), Alex Sandro (rumours send him in Chelsea) and Dybala (a lot of rumours for the last 6 months about him wanting to leave and join one of the Spanish clubs), for example, could ask to leave too then ... That would litterally destroy this Juventus side and they would have to build again, which obviously, would help us to be in the battle for the title, with Napoli being the main team to beat (because they have stability now). RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ZvonimirBoban - 07-13-2017 Anyone knows what is the problem between Allegri and Bonucci? RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - GeoTav - 07-13-2017 (07-13-2017, 09:30 AM)ZvonimirBoban Wrote: Anyone knows what is the problem between Allegri and Bonucci? It looks like they don't like each other. There was a problem in February during a game, they insulted each other (Bonucci wasn't happy about his tactics). The worst case was during the CL final. It seems they almost had a fight during half time or after the game, I don't remember. The source wasn't named but it looks like it was a player of the team, and when you see the comments of Dani Alves now, we could think he was that source. Publicly, Allegri always said Bonucci was the main defender of the team and will be the leader for the years to come, but it looks like they don't communicate anymore. Like someone said on the forum earlier, it looks like the Allegri-Pirlo case (the difference is Bonucci is their best defender and Allegri can't send him on the bench right now, so it's better for everyone, if everything is true, to let the guy leave). It also comes to my mind that some players said they didn't like the time with Allegri in Milan, despite him being a top tactician (Seedorf stated something like that for example). RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 07-13-2017 So Bonucci posted something on Instagram that he is ready for the new season (all black and white). Saw it on football-italia. Many are reading that as a sign that he'll stay there and these rumors were just that, rumors. But here we are a day later and still no denial of anything by the agent or Bonucci himself. I feel like a story that went viral like this one would be denied fairly quickly if it was fabricated. So at this point, it surely looks like there is actually something in this. Sky is really running with this...claiming that we had new contacts with Bonucci's agent and that we are actually set to meet with Marotta this afternoon. They also say that Milan is not on only confident, but positive they can close a deal within 48 hrs. Woowww RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - GeoTav - 07-13-2017 (07-13-2017, 10:49 AM)nefremo Wrote: So Bonucci posted something on Instagram that he is ready for the new season (all black and white). Premium Sport (on TMW) reports a first offer : 30M + De Sciglio. That seems a fair offer I think. There's something in the move for sure ... Juventus is negotiating with Atalanta to finally have Caldara from now instead of next season. PS : Atalanta will not be in Top 6 this season and will be destroyed in EL with all their best players leaving ... RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Arildonardo - 07-13-2017 A quick roundup of the first rumours I read today: - Milan continue Bonucci talks - Milan back in for Aubameyang - Milan still want Belotti The summer is far from over... RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 07-13-2017 lol, I think those trying to read into his picture for the upcoming season are thinking too much about it. Yes it's the Juve colours, but in all honesty having white/yellow text on a black background is fairly common to make the text stand out. Plus, he's hardly going to suddenly start posting picture in red and black lol. It seems we'll likely start off negotiations for 30m plus DES. I think Premium Sport said Juve want around 40-50m for him, which I don't think included DES. Basically, as things are running, we may end up with an Andre Silva situation in our hands with an extremely quick negotiation. I like it, that shows how invested they are and it's the good message they send to the players (strong management, close from the players). From the reports, the offer is sent to Juventus, and the agent is currently in meeting with Marotta. Damn, who knows, Bonucci could officially be a Milan player before the end of the day ? I don't know if F&M will go in China for the whole tour ? If yes, how much time is our squad going to be in China ? That probably means there will be some slow down in our mercato. So today and tomorrow could be great days for us ! |
