RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Hitman - 08-10-2017 (08-10-2017, 10:30 AM)donlocatelli Wrote: mirabelli is a really smart guy when it comes to selling as well as buying. we bought bertofodder for 20m on a 4 year contract in 2015. that means he's amortized at 5m per year so is currently worth 10m on the books. mirabelli realized nobody will pay that amount for him now given his awful performances last season. therefore he loaned him to genoa (who are paying his wages) hoping he rediscovers his form and can be sold for more than 5m next year representing a slight profit. smart man. I don't know what you meant by this but he's not worth 10m on the books right now. He's worth what people want to pay for him and maybe what you meant to say is that there will be a 5m expense on the balance sheet this year for Bertolacci's third year on his contract. Bertolacci will next year be on his last year of his contract and we predict that he'll do much better than he did at Milan (lets be honest it can't be worse) so his value will only increase but to how much? Usually the best players used to go for 15m when they were on their last year of their contract. Nowadays the market is changing and we have Alexis/Ozil both on their last year of their contracts and they'll be fetching around 30-40m probably. He's nowhere near that level though, we can compare him to De Sciglio who went for 12m last month. Didn't see the game yesterday. How'd Borini do? (08-10-2017, 07:38 PM)Arildonardo Wrote: France Football claims we had a €30 million bid for Falcao from Monaco rejected. By all means the worst forward we've been linked to. Him and Immobile. Horrendous choice. It's just a rumour and hopefully remains just that. I'm not sure why a lot of you here think Kalinic would be bad. You guys should trust Mirabelli + Montella if they both singled him out and want him at all costs when no one does. They both know what they're doing and Mirabelli has really shown how well he understands football so far this summer and bought 10 really really good players. I wouldn't pick Kalinic myself especially because of his price and age but he's definitely MUCH better than Bacca. I cannot believe some people are still talking about the possibility of Bacca staying in the squad. I cannot stand him and his attitude is disgusting especially when subbed out. He doesn't have ANY use here anymore other than funding us with probably 15m euro. Kalinic should come for the price of Bacca, at max we should should spend an extra 10m from our budget (on top of Bacca's money). He's very good at holding the ball up, he's very experienced. Have you seen how many games he won for Fiorentina single handedly last year? He has such character that allows him to score goals at the death of the game that manages to get points for his team. Do not underestimate this quality. We are probably buying him mainly because of his experience and character plus he knows Serie A. I would support this move if it did happen and believe he just will fit in better than Andre Silva for next season. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 08-10-2017 Apparently Everton submitted 25m bid for Kalinic RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Arildonardo - 08-10-2017 There's Cavani rumours now. If PSG get Mbappé... Doubt it, but at least he's a world class striker. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 08-10-2017 Quote:If Milan don't move in the coming days in a concrete manner to sign Kalinic the player will ponder other options [Sky]. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - devoted_dm - 08-10-2017 Seems like it's Kalinic for us, according to the latest reports. He is the player that Montella wants, so maybe it'll be ok? RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - porcho - 08-10-2017 (08-10-2017, 04:49 PM)nefremo Wrote: It would be easy to send Mauri on a loan. I am not really worried about him. Yes, he's not ready to play 1st team yet but you can hardly put him in the same boat as the others... Mauri would benefit greatly from some constant game time at a smaller team. Then we could decide on what to do with him next year depending on how well he does. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Milan369 - 08-11-2017 I think our management's plan to wait until August 15 is a mistake. They should have gone for the attacker before. Who knows maybe they have a concrete plan?? Or maybe there might be surprises?? I have a feeling that they are waiting for Costa RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - WCmilan - 08-11-2017 The only thing that would redeem managements idea of waiting for August 15th is that they already have a deal in place and are waiting for funds again. Otherwise, it's risky business and it shows lack of clear ideas. Highly doubt it though, management looks like they had things planned out for quite a while.. Let's see how things turn out I'm sure we will be happy. Mirabelli hasn't disappointed thus far, and he said in an interview that he will do what makes the fans happy. I'm pretty sure they know that Kalinic is every fans least favorite pick. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - sylrus - 08-11-2017 if montella wants kalinic im in doubt with that move, because we know how that went last season when montella want sosa and mati on the team. i dont think montella is a good talent spotter, unlike miha. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Nicolas - 08-11-2017 Maybe they are waiting to see how the market evolves. A lot of things are in motion. If PSG manages to buy Mbappe, that might fee up either Cavani or Di Maria. Dortmund are probably waiting to see if Barca buy Dembele for €120M+, as then Aubameyang will be staying at the club. It looks like a lot of clubs are waiting for the other ones to make moves, and once it starts happening, I think we will see a lot of players move clubs swiftly. Its difficult to see who we’ll end up with, but by now I don’t have a feeling that Fassone and Mirabella have a clear objective, but are more likely looking for an opportunity to pounce on Aubameyang, Costa, Falcao, Cavani or someone else in that bracket. Kalinic is clearly plan B if everything else fails. We probably also still need to get rid of Bacca before we sign a new striker. |
