RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 08-13-2017 (08-13-2017, 06:16 PM)nefremo Wrote: The thing is, the new management has been talking about a top class striker all summer. This signing is supposed to be the big name, big money, big star transfer. It's supposed to announce that Milan is back. My point is, the management had to have known the entire time that someone with that description was going to cost upwards of 65/70mil with a salary of 8-10mil. This should not be a surprise for them. I am sure they are prepared to meet those demands. I think it's both. BVB wants 100m and dropping 40m on Bonucci wasn't planned. I don't see Aubameyang in the plans anymore. I think if Cairo turns down the last bid for Belotti, then we sign Kalinic & Dolberg RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Arildonardo - 08-13-2017 Berardi was in the stands watching Fiorentina vs Parma this afternoon. That has sparked rumours that Fiorentina wants to replace Bernardeschi with him. It's believed he would cost around €30 million. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 08-13-2017 I'm confused about Berardi. I don't understand why Roma aren't after him to replace Salah, especially with EDF as coach. I think with Auba the management were mostly likely hoping to get the price down by waiting. Early in the transfer window, he was linked to a few places, notably China, which meant that his cost was driven up thanks to competition. I think the idea was to see if that competition would die down over time (which it has) to help bring down the demands of Dortmund. That said, I think with all potential targets for the striker role (for which I think the management have kept options open the whole time), the negotiations have been really tough as no clubs seem set to be prepared to negotiate. I think part of the reason for waiting was also to give the club an opportunity to see what opportunities might turn up and also give the management a chance to try and sell some players (again, a challenge thus far). Finally, I think the Neymar deal has changed the market, as the absurd money spent only continues to inflate prices, which directly conflicts with us trying to bring them down. Either way, let's be patient, I'm confident we'll be satisfied at the end. I am sure they are prepared to meet those demands.I think its a few things.Paying €42m for Bonucci having to pay €5m+ bonuses more for Biglia than was anticipated. Not being able to sell Bacca Niang or Paletta as no one has or will offer anything more than a loan.Dortmund actually not wanting sell Aubameyang now that Dembele will almost certainly go to Barca once they reach €150m. Belotti well Cairo is sticking to his €100m valuation and Belotti needs to say its ridiculous I want to move I want to further my career. He needs to say I WANT TO LEAVE it doesnt have to be him going on strike or any of that. After the mercato we've had ending up with Kalinic will be sooooo anticlimactic and pointless. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Arildonardo - 08-13-2017 If Belotti wanted to leave he probably shouldn't have signed a contract until 2021... RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACM2023 - 08-13-2017 It is Dzeko saga all over again. I have given up on him. It is okay though. There are plenty of fish in the pond. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Kastriot - 08-13-2017 Delofeu starting for Barca against Real M RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - PassiamoAlleCoseFormali - 08-13-2017 (08-13-2017, 06:16 PM)nefremo Wrote: The thing is, the new management has been talking about a top class striker all summer. Ah man this is the point, i can not criticize the new property , but as you say the new management has been talking about a top class striker all summer , if they now buy Kalinic It would be a big disappointment and it is normal. This is wrong , you probably do not know the Cairo character well ,Belotti wants to come to Milan is a Milan fans, everybody knows this, is brother even has a tattoo with the coat of arms of Milan , he does not talk because even if they say "i want go to milan" Cairo it claims its price without discussion,In this way it is likely to worsen the situation,if now he is willing to accept 75M plus player ,if now Belotti did a video like Aubameyang for Cairo will not accept less than 100M and without player....did the same thing last year with Maksimovic at Napoli.... Cairo is like Lotito (Lazio President) Biglia next year finish contract and ask 20M or nothing check situation Keita ask 30M Juve and Inter offer 20 and Lotito say 30 or take it up next year on contract expiration . RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - honsano - 08-13-2017 If anyone cares, Lazio beat Juve today. De Sciglio got beat for the game winning cross. |
