RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Arildonardo - 05-05-2017 (05-05-2017, 12:55 PM)nefremo Wrote: http://www.football-italia.net/102127/sartori-kessie-waiting-chelsea At least we are on the rollercoaster, unlike previous years. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Arildonardo - 05-05-2017 According to L'Équipe Lucas Moura is unsure about his future and could leave PSG in the summer. Still only 24, versatile and can play in several attacking positions. Rumours say Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are interested. Alternative to Deulofeu maybe? RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - reza - 05-05-2017 It's definitely a good move for Kessie to go to a team with Kante and Matic .... sarcasm RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - am I Milan enough? - 05-05-2017 Kessie loan with obligation to buy, first payment 9M followed by 21M in 2018 RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 05-05-2017 (05-05-2017, 02:10 PM)Arildonardo Wrote: According to L'Équipe Lucas Moura is unsure about his future and could leave PSG in the summer. Talented player that's for sure. I would still pick Douglas Costa over him in a heartbeat! Man I hate when I want a player in Milan so bad.....never ends well and I always get disappointed! Hell, we are not even linked to him! RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - WCmilan - 05-05-2017 I watched some more videos of Kessie, it looks like he's definitely a star in the making, but he doesn't really remind me of anyone off the top of my head. I think what makes him worth it is the fact that he's so calm and composed on the ball and at such a young age. Still though, he's not a super creative player it seems, more like an all around guy. I'd like someone like Fabregas or Kovacic to come in, someone who can move the ball around for us. Fassone said our budget is 120mln not including player sales. Right away Bacca being sold for 15-20mln and a few other players being sold like Poli etc. should bring our budget up to about 150 in total. Attack: Lucas (35m), Aubameyang (60m) Midfield: Kessie (30m), Kovacic (30m) Defence: Ghoulam (20m), Musacchio (18m) ---------Lucas-------------Aubameyang-------------Suso-------------- ----------Kessie------------Locatelli-----------------Kovacic----------- ---Ghoulam------Romagnoli-------Musacchio--------------Abate----- ---------------------------Donnarumma--------------------------------- That's 193million euros. I really don't see how we can afford to make too many big signings. The players I just mentioned could definitely all happen if perhaps we scratched out Aubameyang and bought someone else at a cheaper price. Names being linked like Kalinic ring a bell, but I'd really prefer someone else. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 05-05-2017 WCMilan I think the easiest way to look at Kessie is as an all round box to box midfielder, one that's versatile. I think he's underestimated technically, he's very good on the ball and has quick feet, his passing isn't always the best though. I think the best example of who he's a bit like is a cross between Essien and Seedorf, albeit it's best just to look at him for his own qualities. I'm not too keen on Lucas Moura personally, I think he's too limited in what he does and variety of play to really be someone who will make the impact we'd hope for. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 05-05-2017 Everyone says that Kessie is an all around midfielder (maybe that actually IS the best way to describe him), and although he definitely can become that, from what I have seen he is not that good defensively to be considered a solid box to box yet. He is "uninvolved" to say the least in the defensive phases. (Would you agree Dev?) He has the physique and athleticism to dominate his marks defensively...but for whatever reson, that is not the case in the moment. (I actually went back and watched Atalanta's games against Roma and Juventus from earlier this season). Having said that, all the qualities are there for him to improve that part of the game. I am not really worried about it. Those same qualities make him a very hard player to dispossess however, and he does that very good and drives the ball forward really well. I am not on the bandwagon just yet. If we have a ton of money to spend, I have no problem investing some of it in a player like Kessie. I am just afraid that if we spend 30mil on him that the management look at him as the "big signing" for the midfield, and I really don't think he'll raise the level as much as we need it to be raised in the middle. At least not immediately. If the above does happen (him being the "big midfield signing"), than I hope I am really wrong and that he transforms this midfield. Again, to reiterate my point and make myself clear, I think he is a good player and if he comes along with another big midfield signing, than I will be as happy as anyone else. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - sylrus - 05-06-2017 how much does pellegrini cost?? 12m 15m?? that is a steal. i have seen some vid in youtube on kessie and pellegrini, i think they are both excellent, but kessie for 28m is damn sure expensive, i think he will be played in kucka role whereas pellegrini could be the technical one like on lcm, so yeah i think bona will be played on the lw if we do get pellegrini and kessie together. but we do still need 1 midfielder to be the general on the midfield, and i dont think that role suit montolivo to be honest, he is getting old and slower with no strength to back him up like seedorf used to have. and loca can be used as a backup for the midfield. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 05-06-2017 (05-06-2017, 03:07 AM)sylrus Wrote: how much does pellegrini cost?? 12m 15m?? that is a steal. That's a good question. I don't think Sassuolo has much leverage in the situation. They basically have 2 choices (and as matter of fact, it's not even them that deside but it's Pellegrini): 1. Player wants to and agrees to go to Roma, which mesns they get 10mil. 2. Player is open to reject Roma and wants to go to Milan, in which case they can get a bit more, but it's not like they can demand too much more as Milan can just say "you get 15, or just lose him for 10 to Roma". I think naturally Sassuolo will prefer option 2 as they can get a bit more money. They are losing the player anyway so why not make some extra cash. So yes, I think you are probably right with your numbers. I would think it's going to be closer to 15 though. |
