Mystik don't expect him to scratch your itch for creativity, he's got decent technical quality and can influence things in the final third of the pitch (can and should do more still), but if he comes the most obvious player he's most similar to is probably Kucka. Physically strong and dominant box to box midfielder. I consider him better than Kucka already though.
We're linked to Badelj again as a possible alternative to Gustavo. I said a year ago that I think we should look for someone better, but I'd be satisfied with Badelj or Gustavo (I consider them similar quality, albeit different strengths). I hadn't anticipated Locatelli would grow so much this season and breakthrough the way he has, so a short term solution to ease the pressure off him is pretty much ok to me. Plus, with the amount of work needed, I think it would be unrealistic to expect a world beater.

Kessie, Musacchio, possibly R.Rodriguez ... They're all starters in this Milan side. That doesn't mean we will be a contender for the title, far from that, but they're all smart choices of players.
If we get Belotti or Morata (I prefer Belotti because Morata has never scored tons of goals in a season so far), it will be perfect so far.
I trust Calabria on the right.
I'd keep Antonelli on the left as the backup for R.Rodriguez if this guy comes.
De Sciglio is leaving for sure now, Abate can be the sub for Calabria, and Vangioni can leave wherever he wants.
If we let Poli, Sosa and Pasalic leave : let's get both Badelj and Luiz Gustavo. Especially after reading that Locatelli could be sent on loan for one season.
There are again rumours we could get Donnarumma (Antonio).
That would mean :
GK - Gigio, A.Donnarumma, Storari, Plizzari
RB - Calabria, Abate
LB - R.Rodriguez, Antonelli, Vangioni, De Sciglio
CD - Romagnoli, Musacchio, Paletta, Zapata, Gomez
CM - Bonaventura, Kessie, Montolivo, Locatelli, Poli, Sosa, Pasalic, Kucka, Bertolacci, Fernandez, Honda
RM - Suso
LM - Deulofeu
ST - Bacca, Lapadula
I strikeouted all the players who have been linked with rumours about them leaving our club (loan, sold or free).
There's still a lot of work for our new management !

Alexandre Lacazette has been made available by Lyon for around €40 million. Problem is that interested clubs include Barcelona, Arsenal, Dortmund, Atletico Madrid. I'd rather have him for 40 than someone like Morata for 70...

My guess is that our next acquisition will be up front. We're too stacked in midfield with players, and unless we get rid of some of them first, I just don't see it possible for us to strengthen the middle further without alienating the rest of the squad. Current management are smart enough to avoid that, specially when just one win may be enough for us to qualify for Europe.
I'm guessing once we've achieved that, renewals for our current crop (Gigio, Suso) will begin. If we're in Europe next year, that make renewals that much more attractive. After that, it will be an exercise of dropping deadwood and using that money to bring in quality replacements.
I'm just glad that our new management are taking things in proper, well thought out stages, unlike a certain Adam's family wannabe these last 5 years...

Lets say these all go off with out a hitch.Can you imagine , I mean just think for uno second.Ricardo Rodriguez , Musacchio , Kessie maybe Badelj/Gustavo all done by first few days of June....
Is this real life ? We rely are so used to horrible management this is like winning the lottery.
All those years wasted , even without pumping in millions had we anyone other than Galliani we would not be in debt and with a bloated mostly average squar...But thats over now , im feeling dare I say OPTIMISTIC
