RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 05-19-2017

(4-2-3-1) Donnarumma; Rodriguez, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Conti; Locatelli, Kessie; Bonaventura, Fabregas, Suso; Morata or Belotti

Possibly?

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - porcho - 05-19-2017

Fabregas is looking highly unlikely at the moment...
Player himself said he wasn't interested, plus there's a lot of interest in other PL clubs and his family is all setup in England. Staying is the easy option for him. Just means we need to need to get another CM...
Plus some wingers...

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 05-19-2017

Badelj is the only other CM we've been linked to and apparently that's been put on hold for whatever reason.

I have no idea what we're going to do at LW/RW. Keita looks doubtful.

gustavo? pellegrini? kessie? i think they can play at dm albeit not the best position for them.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 05-19-2017

Pellegrini looks more likely to return to Roma based on most recent rumours. I think the rumour of Di Francesco going there as manager has changed the situation.

It's being reported that Keita Balde is getting closer to Juve. However, it's a difficult situation to read, as it seems both Milan and Juve are close to him based on which papers you read. One reason Juve's stock has risen was because his dad recently said he's flattered by the interest. Milan are banking on the following:

1) The club has been in regular contact with him for a long time now, even when he wasn't going through an easy period
2) Milan can offer him guarantees that he'd be central in the new project, whereas at Juve there's obviously no guarantees
3) Possibly the most important, Lotito and Juve have very fraught relationships, so it's difficult for them to reach an agreement. In the meantime, Lotito apparently has good relations with Fassone and it was even rumoured that he'd be prepared to sell Keita to Milan for less rather than letting him go to Juve.

On getting Morata or Belotti, I'm in agreement with nefremo. I like Belotti and certainly wouldn't have issues with him coming, but personally I think Morata's achieved more in his career so far than the Italian. I also think Morata's technically better and has greater experience than Belotti, who's got physical advantages and is the better finisher (well, not technically, but he seems to finish off chances more frequently).

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 05-19-2017

That Veratti news makes me nervous. I know he won't go to Inter but I really don't want him at Juventus. Hopefully he won't move anywhere.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 05-19-2017

Players like Fabregas & Morata would bring that championship mentality.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 05-19-2017

I would really rather Kovacic over Fabregas tbh. If there is an opportunity at all, this should be our big signing in the middle.

Things are heating up for Keita. I really don't understand why Juventus wants him!? Also, why do we want him? Meaning, do we want him to be our winger or do we want him to be a SS/CF?

Also what's with the Modric news? I assume they are just nonsense....but they would be an incredible addition.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - reza - 05-19-2017

Both Modric and Verratti, would be too much even for fantasy thread lol Big Grin Every player in Milan rumour mill is guaranteed to be linked with Juve and Inter too, not really bothered by it to be honest. Important thing in my opinion is Fassone & Mirabelli seem genuinely proactive for this summer.
