RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - somedevil - 05-23-2017 Feels so strange to see transfer deals finished so smoothly and without any extra publicity. Get used to it mate. We're never going back. RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - GeoTav - 05-23-2017 I noticed we're linked with 2 players of the Italian clubs : Kessie-Conti (and even Gomez), Keita-Biglia ... That's smart. I can understand Lazio asking for a bit more, as we want to buy two starters, which means they'll have to find 2 players or build again their team. About Biglia, he's not a top player, but IMO, he's a kind of "Pjanic to Juv" deal, a player who has a lot of experience in Serie A, who's been playing at some good level for years now and who should have no problem to walk into our first team and be effective. The guy is a football player, he can pass the ball to his partners, which is already a lot better than 95% of our midfielders. Actually, I like our mercato, it seems we know what we want and what we want to improve without stupidly splashing money. It looks like we are building a team, when somewhere else in Milan, a club tries to attract good individualities but doesn't understand how to build a team (follow my look : Inter anyone ?). RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Ryo - 05-23-2017 Geo I think it's about time you changed your sig too mate. I don't see us dying anymore RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 05-23-2017 Biglia's a good player, I don't see him as anything special, but like Badelj or Gustavo, he's a decent short term solution. There were some rumours that we also spoke to Roma about Pellegrini, Paredes and Nainggolan. Not sure it's anything at this point, Nainggolan especially seems very unrealistic. Paredes is an outstanding talent imo, as I mentioned last summer, so would love him in our team. A future double pivot of him with Locatelli is mouth watering. Everything right now is up in air though. There's so many rumours doing the rounds it's full on silly season. However, at least it seems we're looking in the right directions. Also, getting 2+ players from each team is actually really smart in many ways, as not only do we build around players who have worked together, but it means they have a better chance of integrating into the group. It's harder for someone to come on their own rather than with someone they know. At least we can be hopeful, even excited, this summer. It's harder for someone to come on their own rather than with someone they know. And you forget to mention that we also weaken these teams by taking 2+ players from them. The fact we are doing that with Lazio and Atalanta is not surprising IMO ... RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Arildonardo - 05-23-2017 I don't know about this Lucas Biglia guy. Nothing special so I don't see why we should rush into signing someone like him. There should be plenty of equally good and younger players available during the summer. It's not like we have to be done with ALL transfers by June... RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - nefremo - 05-23-2017 Agree. No need to rush and especially overpay. If it was a special player, ok. But Biglia is not, so I don't see the point. Sky also say that there was talk of De Vrij yesterday too. Now 50mil for Keita and De Vrij would be nice. Even a little more than that is fair. Musacchio - De Vrij - Romagnoli That's a solid backline. Keep 2 of Paletta/Gomez/Zapata (preferably the first 2) and we are all set to easily have one of the best defensive units in Italy. Of course, with some injury concerns... RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - devoted_dm - 05-23-2017 So there's more talk about Man City wanting Donnarumma today. I'm starting to think he will leave tbh. I don't believe that Raiola is telling the truth when he says Donnarumma will stay if Milan creates a competitive team again. There is too much money to be made for him if there's a sale. Obviously it would be a terrible decision for the player, potentially even a career destroying move, but that's what you get when you work with an asshole like Raiola (why him, of all agents?). Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - AC_Troy - 05-23-2017 Biglia & De Vrij would be great. Donnarumma isn't going anywhere. |
