Locatelli about to come on.

Interesting, SPAL have had no attempts at goal today

Edit: Wild you think it's been poor today?

Locatelli for Biglia

Our defense is probably our best players.

Its strange that our fluidity is weak when we have lot of technical players.

Considering SPAL play with a 8-1-1 formation, it's pretty much expected that our attackers are going to find it hard to get the job done. Still we've managed to score two goals and make plenty of half chances. I'd say it's been a decent showing by the team as a whole already.

Suso tries too hard to do things himself. Andre Silva was in a great position for a layoff there

Facing a team that park the buss doesnt excuse how sloppy we were.
Most of our players were missing simple passes & controls.

Am not talking about the usual suspects like Abate or Zapata.
Am talking about technical players like Hakan , Andre , Kali , BigL , Suso & Bona.
Am so disappointed with the team.
Bright side is that our backline was composed & Loca was decent when he played.

Full time. 2-0
Decent easy victory against the ball boys of the league.
I can't say we played spectacular, but given we have another game in 3 days, it's good enough to conserve energy and not get injured whilst winning.
4 wins in 5 games and 12 points from 15. Not too much to complain about when we're in the middle of our 8 games in 20 days run.

That was a professional performance. We got the three points, and tbh after we got the first goal I never really had any doubts about how it was going to end. Winning is becoming a habit for us now, even on average days like today.

I fell asleep twice during the second half (2 or 3 minutes each time) as it wasn't an exciting game. I am content with the result however, because we have had such a packed schedule and it is natural (and wise) that we don't throw in everything we have.

3 points and a clean sheet. Can't ask for anything more than that.

I disagree that our passing was sloppy and I think stats show that. We had over 500 passes in the game today with an 88% success rate, I don't consider that sloppy. We had a few moments of sloppiness, such as the first minute or two of the match and then again at the start of the second half, but I think on the whole we played a focused game and never looked like we would let the result get out of hand.
