If we keep the current scouting team in place (Moncada) then we'll surely see a big improvement in this area. Understandably, it'll take time to see the results.

About buying from Brescia and SPAL...
I'm still not 100% sold on Tonali. I would love for us to buy him...but he may be an example where we are buying "high" and therefore a big risk if things don't work out.
From the rest of the Brescia team...they actually have "older" players that are interesting much more then "younger" ones. For example, every time I've seen them play, the playerthat's impressed me the most is Torregrossa. So, we don't necessarily need to look at young players, but maybe once that can be decent back ups for us and wouldn't mind seating on the bench while not earning a lot. I'd definitely get Torregrossa as a back up option in attack.

From SPAL...I'm with Xu. I'd take back Petagna as a back up. I'm just not sure he'd be up for that. He's made it clear he wants to play in the past. 1 of their GKs as a back up (Letica or Berisha) wouldn't be bad either.

But I guess no...other than Tonali, nobody else that's reaaalllyyy worth going after from either team.

Empoli last year had a lot of great players to offer, Literally every player which was bought by Serie A clubs worked quite well except for Krunic(he was good but surely not a Milan material otherwisr he is a great fit for club like Bologna and Torino), I might not wrong but Empoli was one of the best club that was relegated in last 10 years. Sadly this year none of relegated team is that good. Hellas Verona was too good to be relegated.

Yea, probably so. They got really close to that golden 40 point safety mark. They got relegated on the last day and as a matter of fact, looking at the table again, they had the same amount of points as Genoa and only 3 less than the likes of Fiorentina, Cagliari and Parma.

I'm rooting for Lecce this season. It's good for Serie A to have the Genoa-Samp derby.....but I've developed a big dislike for Genoa (I blame this on Galliani Big Grin) so I wouldn't mind if they went down as it looks like it'll be between those 2 at the end with tomorrows head to head having huge importance.

Also, speaking of Genoa, they have some interesting players to choose from if they were to be relegated.

Yes, loss of Genoa is a big loss of Italian football, no matter how many times they have robbed us but Genoa always have produced some good footballer since time immemorial, it's just that we never had any luck with Genoa club doesn't mean I wish relegation for them. On the other hand I also want Parma(if they are not bought by any good businessman) to be relegated atleast next seaon cuz their just hopeless loan club of Italy, no money, crap Primavera, crap scouts. I hope Chievo to be back soon.

RE: Serie A - ACM2023 - 07-18-2020

Empoli was so close! Even until the last seconds, they still had the chance against Inter Merda. Had they stayed up, we would be in UCL this season too. Sad

RE: Serie A - ACM2023 - 07-18-2020

Verona 1-1 Atalanta
Cagliari 1-1 Sassuolo

Both are decent results. Should further strengthen our 7th spot.

RE: Serie A - Sleeping Giant - 07-18-2020

Locatelli stats against Cagliari(rating 8.2 highest in the match)

Minutes played 94'
Touches 132
Acc. passes 103/115 (90%)
Key passes 3
Crosses (acc.) 1 (1)
Long balls (acc.) 7 (5)

Dribble attempts (succ.) 2 (2)
Ground duels (won) 12 (10)
Aerial duels (won) 2 (1)

Tackles 6

What a player we have lost.... Do we had any buyback clause?

Yea. If we win tonight, we are virtually assured of 7th. It's pissing me off just to say that, but such is life as a Milan fan these days.

RE: Serie A - ACM2023 - 07-18-2020

I don't think so. I remember some reports that Locatelli insisted not having a buyback clause inserted. He must really hate us.
