We are seeing the work of Moncada with these youngsters.I trust him judging by what he did at Monaco if even 1 in 20 turn out to be world class but will be worth it.

Inter are being linked with a shock swoop for Milan defender Cristian Zapata, with Ivan Cordoba (his agent) the key.

its self fabricated rumor, to force Milan offer extension sooner. Otherwise, even if he went to Inter, no one would cry after him

Lol.. Monaco has sacked Thierry Henry.. if Fabregas joined Monaco to help out his buddy, thats a gone case now.. with Monaco sitting in 19th position and facing relegation, if they do get relegated at the end.. i wonder if he would regret not joining us.. Ligue 1 is abit of a joke for his calibre.. but ligue 2..? Hahahah

I dont think he chose them over us , we just didnt make an actual ofger to him or Chelsea.
Monaco are only a win away from safety I think they'll be okay in the end.

Meeting between Leonardo & Zapata’s agent Ivan Cordoba took place this morning. Fenerbahce submitted two year and a half year contract offer for the player. The player might consider accepting the offer as there isn’t a counter offer from Milan. Updates expected in coming weeks [Sky]

I think Leonardo made a comment on Fabregas, that he choose to help his friend or something like that Smile

Well said. It's all business & money now, and the amount of money involved is disgusting these days. Not only does it cost so much more to build a team, but so many young promising players are being wasted by the way things are going. They make their first millions by scoring a few goals and getting hyped up, and never play the same again.

In 2009 believe it or not, Kaka & Ibra were the highest paid players in Europe both making 9 million euros net/season.

I dug up an article I remember reading a while back
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/9514149/Graphic-Premier-League-transfer-and-wage-spending-from-the-200001-season-to-201112.html
Just shows the Premier League clubs transfer spending/wage bills from 2001-2012.
In 2001 ManU's wage bill was 50mln pounds, in 2011 it was 150mln pounds, and things have gotten so much more inflated since 2011/12 season. Thing is, revenues have also increased.

The fundamental problem for most of Serie A is that we missed out on the increasing revenues part, but still need to survive in an inflated transfer/wage market. The only team that thought ahead was Juve by building a stadium & all the fundamental modernization needed to keep up.

In addition to Milan, Inter are also considering Carrasco [Di Marzio]
