RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 06-25-2012

Well if you compare to our last world cup.. that team was a disaster 2010, the average age was probably like 33.2 lol

we do have some top prospects for the future though,

insigne, veratti, els, balotelli, santon, acerbi, ogbonna, borini are all up there, and in general within the media(other then italian media) our prospects are generally underrated.

From what I hear from Urby's camp, so really, his entourage, Milan is preparing to play Urby as LB. He litterally requested it from Allegri for next season. This is because he wants to take the spot as left back in the national team. And maybe also because we have no room for him in midfield anymore ? :p

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 06-26-2012

disappointed with resigning flamini, but for the wage he resigned for is good business and only for a year is even better.

ongoing reports of kaka returning, according to gulfnews(reported 5 hours ago) his father is in talks with galliani over the transfer..

I know this is probably just rumour, but what would you guys think of kaka returning? I think it would be good and bad. Good because he's a part of our history and imo if he stays fit and healthy can still offer a lot to our team.
Not convinced because he's 30 y/o, ontop of that real madrid most likely won't let him leave cheap..

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - will4li - 06-26-2012

If urby improve his defence awareness to ashley cole's level,he will be a WC left fullback.and I think urby has already developped huge strides as a midfielder last season.

What the hell? Flamini re-signed? Galliani should have resigned! Big Grin

Actually, if the rumored 1.4M per year salary is true, that may not be bad business. Just curious what took Flamini (and his agent) to reject the 1.8M contract, then 2M contract, only to get the 1.4M one in the end.

Of course, we may not know what really happened.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - am I Milan enough? - 06-26-2012

I have no problem signing Flamini (at much lower salary), but it will become problem IF thats the end of our mercato.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - will4li - 06-26-2012

Kaka returning on loan will be a dream move considering our financial situation, the guy maybe lost 15% of his prime time pace, but with his work ethic and wisdom to make some adjustment to his game,he is still a great addition to our squad.

I actually don't mind Flamini resigning either at such a low wage. I doubt that it would be the end of mercato. I believe Galliani has been searching high and low for another (affordable) DM. The rumor is that it could be Sahin or Strootman, but I am hoping it would be Hernanes, even though I am aware that they aren't of the same role.

In my opinion, it is more like 50% of his pace lost. He is still quality but I would take him back if he accepted at least 70% off in his salary.

That's not going to happen. Taking him back on any salary higher than 3M would not be a dream. It would be a nightmare.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - will4li - 06-26-2012

Saying his pace loss of 50% is an exaggeration,he won't be real's main front sub if so.but I agree that he should accept a major paycut.
