RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Acmir - 07-20-2012 (07-20-2012, 04:48 PM)curki Wrote:(07-20-2012, 02:57 PM)Acmir Wrote: We moan about wages and we gave Ambrosini a new 1-year contract worth 3 million? And he earned more than Nesta, that's ridiculous. Well 1.5 million is an acceptable sum . Our choices for a striker diminish with every passing day, I don't see a striker that can have a great impact for our team, except for Dzeko and Tevez, but Man City doesn't want to sell them, unless they buy Van Persie. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 07-20-2012 It seems like we always do this. Galliani trys making deals through agents offering worthy contracts and taking them to a nice fancy italian restaurant to get the deal 80% done, then the catch is he probably tells the agent we are only willing to offer 10 million for damiao Seriously, tevez negotiations i seriously think it was all meeting with his agent and none directly with man city until the final day where the move didnt go through. Robinho does not deserve to make 6mln a season... Jovetic would take 3-4mln. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - ACM2023 - 07-20-2012 Milan (Galliani) is notorious for negotiating with players and clubs first before formally contacting their club. Didn't we just recently run into trouble with Schalke04? RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 07-20-2012 Yes I know, basically by convincing the agent and player of the move and possibly offering a better contract or a way of which the player/agent make more money thats 60% of the job done. Problem is we are so cheap when it comes to transfer fees that we hardly ever offer enough to the club. I was thinking, Silvas wage was good. But with Ibra's wage gone 12mln a year could pay 3 players wages, literally.. Just as an example, pure fantamercato no truth behind this but look : jovetic 4mln, Damiao 3mln, Cavani about 5-6mln.. it was insane to have a player with such high wages RE: Summer mercato 2012 - ElMago99 - 07-20-2012 Alessandro Nesta Thiago Silva Zlatan Ibrahimovic Gennaro Gattuso Clarence Seedorf Filippo Inzaghi Gianluca Zambrotta Maxi Lopez Alberto Aquilani Mark van Bommel Flavio Roma Alexander Merkel Juventus needed a Revolution because they sucked; 2 straight years finishing 7th after being in Serie B, they made changes. We were all waiting for the Revolution in Milan and this happened. This never should have been. The culture of Milan is now lost completely. This should have been a slow transition. 12 players leaving in 1 mercato? Of the 12, 3 are still Super Stars, another 2 are very good players, and 4 will go down as AC Milan Legends. The team will lack major leadership with only Massimo Ambrosini in the squad, and hopefully not playing more than once out of every 3 or 4 games. He's good ONLY when he's rested and being a year older I can't imagine expecting him to be your holding midfielder. I think this will be a huge mistake management will come to regret, and even if we were to get WC players, the Milan Culture and way of doing things is GONE with no transition. The money, however, will not be spent, I guarantee. Expect a 4th or 5th place finish this year as I see this team on the same level as we were with Borriello, Ronaldinho, etc. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - curki - 07-20-2012 Great article, and well written.
