RE: Summer mercato 2012 - ZvonimirBoban - 08-20-2012 (08-20-2012, 03:40 PM)Jeff Wrote: I have a different point of view re: Cassano. If my goal is to win championship, and my team just sold two superstars who would help me win championship, why should I stay? People are right that he wasn't there for him when Milan needed him, but why would he want to help Milan when Milan failed to fulfill her promise to other players, namely to win championship? So he thinks he cannot win here and then go to Inter, a team which in last season even failed to qualify to Europa League, and did not seem to strengthen itself with adequate players this season? Doesn't make much sense, except if he's really a closet Inter fan, which will surely pisses off everyone here... RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Jeff - 08-20-2012 No he may not think that Inter can win, but he surely feels very disappointed by Milan's management. In fact, we all did. Put yourself in his (or any other player's shoes): your team just sold the best two players in your squad. You are a talented player who are expected to contribute this year, but your management just told you that your star players are sold for money. If I were Cassano, I would be extremely pissed. I'm ok with him being an Inter fan (or used to be when he is a kid). We all can have conflicting identities. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Beppe - 08-20-2012 Palermo and Milan have an agreement on Mesbah!!! that is good news RE: Summer mercato 2012 - honsano - 08-20-2012 (08-20-2012, 04:06 PM)Jeff Wrote: No he may not think that Inter can win, but he surely feels very disappointed by Milan's management. To be honest, his shoes aren't that different from any mediocre player's ambitions. I mean he was praised heavily at Roma and moves to Real where he plays rarely. He goes to Sampodoria and his biggest accomplishment there is getting them into CL. He then is kicked off the team and is scooped up by one of the biggest teams in the world. A team where getting into the CL is not an accomplishment, rather a requirement. He finally has his chance to take a slightly above avergae Milan on his shoulders and be a major contributor to win any sort of title. Rather, he moves to Inter and vanquishes all opportunity to win anything. If he leaves Milan because we have become mediocre, well too bad, because he fits into the bunch. Just an over hyped player who never could fulfill his expectations on a big stage. Purge the mercenaries and bring on the real Milinistas RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Ryo - 08-20-2012 (08-20-2012, 04:07 PM)Beppe Wrote: Palermo and Milan have an agreement on Mesbah!!! Its good news in that we lose another deadweight. But guess what. Galliani explicitly stated that we are NOT going to replace him with ANYONE. We are NOT going to bring in ANYONE for his spot. Still feel good? We lose a body and management refuses to replace him. We're going to use Nini as the starter and Bone(head)ra as the sub. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - sylrus - 08-20-2012 that means we will be forced to use our youth on his position im okay with that RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Kastriot - 08-20-2012 what about Didac Villa, i think he still with us??!! RE: Summer mercato 2012 - reza - 08-20-2012 I read an Amelia leaving rumour, what is going on this summer? Doesn't matter if you rate him or not, we can't change the whole team... RE: Summer mercato 2012 - devoted_dm - 08-20-2012 (08-20-2012, 06:20 PM)sylrus Wrote: that means we will be forced to use our youth on his position Nah, Zapata can play left back, so if Antonini is injured I think he will replace him. Why all the effort to revive him and his career ? dude, you are a moderator and stuff, but i can't keep quiet - this is the stupidest thing i have ever read on this forum. |
