RE: AC Milan vs Barcelona (28th March, 2012) - Pato Milan - 03-20-2012

Does anybody know when we get our injured players back?
It's getting quite ridiculous now I bet other teams are just laughing at us...

RE: AC Milan vs Barcelona (28th March, 2012) - ACM2022 - 03-21-2012

Rumor says that Ibrahimovic was subbed off due to a back problem. If he was injured and out, together with Silva (who was in great pain at the end today), we would have 0.0001% chance of moving past Barcelona.

For this reason, I would have wanted us to field an understrength team vs Juve.....as we now could face Barcelona without key players......

Poor Ibrahimovic, I feel so sorry now Devilf

Robinho Pato

Prince

Nocerino Aqulani Urby

Mexes Silva Nesta Antonini

Abbiatti

Its a very good team and we will have a very good chance of winning.

Some times in big games like these, some relatively less talented players give the performance of the lives. Anyone remember, Liverpool's Sissoko? He once completely took Ronaldinho out of the game at Cam Nou in 2007. How about The Istanbul final? I never heard of Hamman or Smicer (or whatever) before that game. They changes the game. Maybe, just maybe some one like Antonini or Urby would give something unexpected against Barcelona this time.

Smicer got into Euro 1996 final with Czech NT, 9 years before that game, in a midfield that also contained Karel Poborsky, Patrik Berger, and Pavel NEDVED. Hamann already had 59 caps for German NT, one of the strongest NT, before that game, and also a finalist of World Cup in 2002, playing for a midfield that also contained Michael BALLACK, Jens Jeremies, and Bernd Schneider. If you never heard of them before that game, it is certainly not because they are not famous..

Okay fair enough, they were good players, but at that time, it was all about Alonso, Gerrard, Luis Garcia, Carreger & Hyppia. & how about the wonder performance of Dudek?

As long as Pato is in the team, I won't mind him faking the injury. If both are out, then it would trouble time. Oh wait Maxi is in fine form these days Okmilan

How about a 5 men midfield against Barca?
Pato

Boateng Urby
Nocerino Ambrosini Aqulani

My biggest worry is not the absence of Ibrahimovic, but Abate's absence Wallbang

@flame and mzk

You guys have your opinions, and that's cool. Big Grin

I honestly can't wait till Pato is offloaded for Tevez, which is still pretty likely. Smile

And yes, mzk, I agree, Abate will be a big miss as will MVB.

RE: AC Milan vs Barcelona (28th March, 2012) - ACM2022 - 03-21-2012

So, is Abate a confirmed absence for Barca game now?
