According to La Gazzetta dello Sport Milan have made Nicolo Zaniolo their number one target as they look to bolster the attacking options available to head coach Stefano Pioli. The Italian has a contract expiring in 2024.
The first offer that was sent to Roma by Milan was €25m plus Alexis Salemaekers as a counterpart, a proposal that was ultimately declined by the capital club.
According to the paper, this was a proposal that had the purpose of starting the negotiation, not so much one aimed at finding an agreement straight away.

Wolfsburg have set their sights on Rebic and they want to bring him back to the Bundesliga, where he had great success with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Croatian winger is no longer considered an essential piece of the squad because of Rafael Leao’s explosion and the frequent injuries of the past season.
That is why Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are considering raising some money with the sale of the 29-year-old, but the management value Rebic at between €18m and €22m.

If we can sell Rebic for something like €20M, than we probably should. I'd move Saelemaekers to the left to be Leao's deputy. Rack up the cash to build a fund for a top RW.

I would just cash in on Saelemaekers while we cam, just like we did with JPH.

Didn't he score the winning goal in the World Cup final 8 years ago? What a resume. Can't believe that he peaked that early and that I almost completely forgot about his existence in the football world already.

I think he did, and you're right peaked at Dortmund and practically has done nothing since.

I'm a big rebic fan but his injuries and not getting playing time when available I'm good for 20+million for my guy. Wish him the best of course.
