In his column for MilanNews, Franco Ordine writes about how Zlatan Ibrahimovic should call time on his playing days because of the signings his 40-year-old body is giving him, but raises questions about his current supporting cast.
Olivier Giroud ‘is doing his job’ but Marko Lazetic is only 18 and there are ‘no exhilarating judgments’ so far on him. Rafael Leao ‘took a month’s paid vacation without notifying the club’, while Messias ‘laid bare his limited technical baggage’ and is not good enough for a team aiming to win the league.
Brahim Diaz has been ‘missing a goal for too long’ and ‘did not make the promised leap’ meaning the current situation is ‘increasingly urgent’ and that is why ‘Origi alone is not enough’. In Liverpool he is not a starter and he has never scored an avalanche of goals.
Some honest truths for once.

Sassuolo are interested in Marco Brescianini who is currently on loan at Monza, Lorenzo Colombo who is at SPAL, Daniel Maldini and Primavera striker Marco Nasti as potential counterparts involving any deals that may happen for Scamacca, Traore or Berardi.

Some recent stuff I dug up
Pellegatti: "Leao is deeply anxious and concerned about the financial issues with Sporting. I am told by sources close to the player that he is not able to focus lately and his priority is to resolve the issue"

CM: "After Maldini's recent call, it seems Dybala will join Milan almost certainly"
Pellegatti: "Maldini has deemed the price tag of 30m set for Berardi as excessive. They have stopped their bidding at 16 million + bonuses that could reach 20 million total. We could see Sassuolo lower their demands if the player doesn't attract other interest"
Maldini is bang on with Berardi evaluation. I was thinking somewhere around 15m for him maybe couple mill in additional bonuses if he scores 10+ or we win scudetto or whatever.
Another interesting piece:
CMIT: "Milan follows very closely the footsteps of modern Bayern. The ambition of the American fund is to only sell the Milan for a very large and profitable sum. This is a long term perhaps more than a decade long structure. Their ambition is to have a team competitive in Europe and domestic. With regular playing in the champions league and the very modern and ambitious stadium project, they will attract a lot of new interest. The long term strategy is to have steady group of young players and the rule is nobody will be irreplaceable in Elliott's Milan. This is not a bad thing however, the will always have a crop of young talent to replace those who demand too much or attract lucrative offers."

That Leao piece is very very concerning. It could potentially explain his terrible form lately, and there is no good way to recover from that. Considering how important he had been to our attack this year, we might be out of the Scudetto race because of that stupid ass situation

Arab investment fund Investcorp, which is based in Bahrain, are interested in buying Milan and Lille. Milan are in talks with the fund.
