Balotelli needs to be locked in a room with Gattuso and Ibrahimovic once, maybe they'll change his attitude..

he simply thinks he's the Alpha Male in Milan, someone must show him some authority, can Pippo be that guy?!

Every time he passes a player he falls down, his dribblings contribute nothing Big Grin

Arildonardo: Only the most beautiful of the truth Big Grin That is one of the reasons I still support Balo, the others are he is still a Milan player and he himself is a Milan fan.

Acmir: Ok, I remove balance from his qualities Big Grin

Too many critics around Balotelli. Whenever a team doesn't play good, it's always his fault. Italy only scored two goals this world cup, and one was his. If that says anything, it says that he did what he could provided how garbage the team was playing. He's a little lazy and has a short temper, but it's not fair how he's treated imo.

RE: Summer Mercato - Gabriel426 - 06-27-2014

Can't believe I started such heated conversations.

1. Kaka. To me, paying him 4mil till Jan and treat this as his farewell European Tour of some sort, if Milan can market it properly, it will be worth it. Kaka is still a star and a face for football fans. He might not be the great player he once was but he is still have a huge fan base. To use this as a marketing tool will help promote Milan in a positive ways.
Don't forget, Milan is out of Europe and Kaka is no longer a Brazilian Int'l, thus he will only be playing once a week with proper training...In short, he should be more productive than he showed the past year.

2. Mario. I think I made it a bit unclear as to giving him a chance. To me I don't think Milan should accept any offer below 40mil for Mario. With the poor WC showing, other teams will lowball Milan in Mario, thus between selling him below market value or having him on the team to score goals. I would choose having him.

3. Iturbe. He is a good player and could be great but I doubt even Messi or CR7 could come and turn Milan into a top 3 sides in Italy. Thats why I don't think it is time to get him yet.

The other thing I want to mention is that Pippo(from what I read) plays a completely different style of football compare to Seedorf and Allegri. On top of that, Alex is new to the squad and not like the other back three-DES, Rami and Abate/Constant have been playing together for a long time. And add Monty being injured and Milan will most likely have another new player to play in midfield. I think having another new player upfront might not be the best idea to Milan. What Milan needs right now is players consistently playing with each other to develop team-work and Pippo's style.
To me, even if Milan failed for CL next season won't matter much as long as the team as a whole is developing and sticking to their Pippo's style of play.

RE: Summer Mercato - ACMILAN1983 - 06-27-2014

Some bits of news, as per usual quite contradictory depending on news source...

Raiola says Balotelli has Milan heart and Barbara doesn't know this (or something along those lines):

http://www.milannews.it/le-interviste/parla-raiola-vergognosi-attacchi-a-balotelli-mario-e-al-milan-per-cuore-lady-b-non-so-148383

I'll believe Balotelli's heart when he shows it on the pitch.

Gazzetta says Juve will meet Verona today to talk about Itube:

http://www.milannews.it/altre-notizie/gazzetta-le-mani-della-juventus-su-iturbe-oggi-incontro-decisivo-con-il-verona-148395

Apparently 30m is the asking price, Juve will offer money and players.

Meanwhile, Di Marzio says Juve have a slight advantage of getting Iturbe, while we sit around waiting for Kaka:

RE: Summer Mercato - Jay Crisp - 06-27-2014

The Kaka thing is a cop out.An absolute shit excuse , Noce fee and Wages theres your 8m.Or Saponara Vergara Urby is gone Silvestre is gone theres your 8m.
They're doing the same old crap , using excuses as to why they cannot make move.I fully believe they don't or never intended to make a concrete offer , just a reason to make us believe that they're actually doing something and trying to better the squad. Its the same as last summer Ljajic Benatia Tevez , or in winter with Jorginho and Naingollan, who did we get ???.Same shit different mercato.

RE: Summer Mercato - Jay Crisp - 06-27-2014

Iturbe has agreed terms with Juve €1.5m for 5 years + bonuses ,Verona want €30m Juve are up to €27m ATM.
