RE: Summer Mercato - ACM2023 - 08-19-2014 (08-19-2014, 07:26 PM)slifersd Wrote: Dude, I would call AC Milan collect 70 times a day from USA if it means I get to jack up their phone bill and not sign Pandev. You don't think Milan has a plan? They will never accept any call collect! In fact, soon enough they will realize that calls cost money, and our players will be emailing out to random fans to cut cost. Pandev we can! and Pandev we will! Torino are willing to lower their demands and we let him play EL playoffs before signing him. We will make a new player plus cash offer. If I interpreted MilanNews correctly... as many already expressed, I don't understand why we would pursue Cerci (not that he is a bad player) while we have good depth in that position, while we refuse to do anything to strengthen the midfield. I doubt that the motivation is to give Poli and Cristante more chance to grow. So apparently we're still in the race to sign him. Torino are willing to lower their demands and we let him play EL playoffs before signing him. We will make a new player plus cash offer. If I interpreted MilanNews correctly... Yeah even Carlo Pellegatti told Milan Channel today that he had talked to Galliani earlier in the day about Milan's transfer market, and when he asked about Cerci, Galliani had handed his phone over to Urbano Cairo, who apparently was with him at the time, to have him answer the question. His answer was that "it is still only August 19th..." Apparently Galliani and Cairo are hanging out together in Forte Dei Marmi (they are buddies), and they met about Cerci yesterday and today. According to the latest rumors, Torino are willing to go lower than the 20 million euro they originally wanted for Cerci, while Milan are willing to pay a bit more than the original offer of 12 million, and will possibly also include a player in the deal (such as Nocerino, who is already on loan there). Maybe I am being too optimistic here, but I actually think that Cerci will be a Milan player. While Atletico Madrid want him, he is apparently reluctant to leave Italy, and it is obvious that Milan and Torino are negotiating. My guess is that he will join us within a week, and then Galliani will say that Milan's market "è chiusissimo". Then he will sell a few players we don't need and bring in a midfielder around 9 pm CET on September 1st. Gazzetto dello Sport's Carlo Laudisa just tweeted that Milan is close to Cerci after they improved their offer for the player. RE: Summer Mercato - nefremo - 08-20-2014 So no Douglas Costa? I'm ok with either one of the two (Cerci or Costa), so I hope one of them comes. We badly need a CM too though. RE: Summer Mercato - ACMILAN1983 - 08-20-2014 Cerci seems most likely now. I'm not against the transfer, especially for less than 15m (I think it's fair given his age). Anyway, some mercato details: Gazzetta says we've improved the Cerci offer to 13m and could complete it by including a young player: http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/gazzetta-ieri-doppio-incontro-galliani-cairo-il-milan-alza-lofferta-per-cerci-parti-un-po-piu-vicine-il-torino-chiede-dei-giovani-152874 Berlusconi will do one of his motivational talks with the squad: http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/tuttosport-berlusconi-oggi-a-milanello-il-presidente-rossonero-vuole-dare-una-scossa-alla-squadra-di-inzaghi-152885 Liverpool may bid for Balo: http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/repubblica-liverpool-offerti-22-milioni-per-balotelli-152892 A #noPandev doing the rounds: http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-milan/twitter-i-tifosi-del-milan-lanciano-l-hashtag-nopandev-152858 Douglas Costa says he's willing to join if an offer comes: http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-milan/milan-senti-douglas-costa-potrei-seguire-le-orme-di-ronaldinho-152873 Apparently we've shown interest in Fernando Lucas Martins, though Fiorentina are favourites: http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/lucescu-muove-il-mercato-del-milan-fernando-nome-nuovo-per-il-centrocampo-152870 The aim is to sell/loan Gabriel, Didac, Albertatazzi, Essien and Zaccardo before the end of the market: http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-milan/il-messaggero-milan-capitolo-cessioni-sul-piede-di-partenza-gabriel-zaccardo-didac-vila-albertazzi-ed-essien-ma-non-sara-facile-venderli-tutti-152890 RE: Summer Mercato - Arildonardo - 08-20-2014 Milan & Napoli in Dzemaili talks http://www.football-italia.net/54609/milan-napoli-dzemaili-talks Douglas Costa open to Milan move http://www.football-italia.net/54605/douglas-costa-open-milan-move Cerci not included in Toro EL squad http://www.football-italia.net/54610/cerci-not-included-toro-el-squad RE: Summer Mercato - honsano - 08-20-2014 Another story about the Balo possible (?) offer: http://metro.co.uk/2014/08/20/liverpool-make-17-6million-transfer-offer-for-ac-milan-striker-mario-balotelli-4839609/? It'll be interesting to see if this goes through. It also says Liverpool may ask for a loan too with option to buy. RE: Summer Mercato - ACMILAN1983 - 08-20-2014 tbh the Metro's not particularly reliable and states the source as Sportsmediaset, so it's not anything different. Instead MilanChannel says no offer came in... http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-milan/mc-non-ce-stata-nessuna-offerta-del-liverpool-per-balotelli-152913 Also, Cerci is still closer to not coming than coming: http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-milan/mc-cerci-milan-in-questo-momento-e-piu-no-che-si-152914 I take it with a pinch of salt though. Cerci being left out the Europa League squad is indicative that he's likely to leave and the meetings recently between Galliani and Cairo aren't just going to be about Comi. It's interesting to see how MilanChannel see's the Balotelli transfer impacting our market: http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/il-liverpool-piomba-su-balotelli-ma-se-parte-supermario-come-cambia-il-mercato-del-milan-152900 Basically, if he joins then that apparently gives us around 35m to use for the end of the market. Some of that would be used on Cerci's buy. Another likely transfer would be a quality midfielder and then finally a replacement in attack. RE: Summer Mercato - millinarios - 08-20-2014 I dont want any call from Milan players, but if Berlusconi would call me sometime, I would tell him to f*ck off and leave our team alone. RE: Summer Mercato - reza - 08-20-2014 It's one thing to buy Real rejects but to buy Napoli rejects ... seriously, it is beyond unacceptable. |
