Statistically, Argentina have the oldest squad (28.92) and Belgium are the second youngest (25.66)

Argentina won all the matches with Messi's brilliance.

Belgium won all the matches with... Wilmots' brilliance Big Grin

Argentina: Aguero injured. Rojo suspended.
Belgium: Vanden Borre and Vermaelen's conditions are uncertain, though no one cares Big Grin

Brasilia at 13:00 is still a sunshine nightmare.

Could the Red Devil be force-painted in Albiceleste (white & cyan)?

Finally, Argentina will face their first real test, and they will fail. Okmilan

Belgium, the real deal ;) - mzk57 - 07-02-2014

lmao, mzk what happened to your unwavering support for Argentina?

I voted Belgium after ET, though really I have no clue what will happen. Both teams look extremely frail, but if Messi turns up I don't know whether the Belgian defence will cope.

That said, Argentina look terrible and Belgium have players to hurt them.

Through the games I watched, I really think that Rojo could be a big loss. Belgium basically play with four centre-backs, so an attacking fullback should be really helpful to unlock their tight defense, as USA shown yesterday.

FYI, I vote for Belgium victory in 90 minutes Sagrin

I second this. Rojo is a revelation of Argentina.

tbh, I've not been that impressed with him. He's stood out, but overall I don't see anything special in him personally.

I agree. If he has something special, that is his stamina which helps him in movement between attack and defense.

But he helped his team a lot. Without him, Argentina will have more trouble.
